Compact smart phone enabled system for strength and endurance training
09844692 · 2017-12-19 ·

This invention is a portable exercise system capable of performing multiple exercises for strength and endurance training. The key component is the force generation unit (FGU) which is small and light enough to be suspended during the exercise yet capable of producing a force of 50 lbs. The FGU is programmable allowing it to generate various force vs distance, time or velocity profiles. Different handles, cables and attachments can be connected or used with the FGU perform different exercises. The FGU can charge its battery from the user's energy during use. The FGU can communicate bidirectionally with computers and smart phones for setup and to track the user's performance. Multiple FGUs may be used simultaneously each performing a separate function. The entire system is small enough to fit in a drawer or suitcase. The accompanying software can track the user's performance and function as an automated personal trainer.

Exercise systems, methods, and apparatuses configured for evaluating muscular activity of users during physical exercise and/or providing feedback to users

The present disclosure describes systems, methods, and apparatus that facilitate exercise. The system may include one or more convenient, fun, easy to use and low impact exercise apparatuses. An exercise apparatus may comprise one or more physical user interface components configured to engage one or more body parts of the user. The user may perform exercises by exerting forces on individual ones of the one or more user interface components. In some implementations, gameplay may be incorporated into one or more exercises through a game interface presented to the users. Users may be coached during gameplay to perform one or more exercises such that exercise and gameplay may be seamlessly integrated.

Forearm Exercise Apparatus

A forearm exercise apparatus includes a base having a central pillar extending from a top surface thereof. A forearm support is disposed on the base, the forearm support having a forearm support platform and an elbow support coupled to the forearm support platform. First and second handles extend upward from the base, and are offset from a lateral axis of the base that passes through a center of the forearm support and the central pillar on the base. The handles are capable of being gripped by a hand of a user when a user's opposite forearm is placed on the forearm support. A plurality of legs extends downward, away from the central pillar. A lower platform is spaced apart from the lower shelf, the lower platform extending outward, beyond at least one edge of the base.

Portable Folding Arm Wrestling Table

A folding portable arm-wrestling competition table for use by two players that can be disposed in either a transportation mode or a playing mode. In the playing mode the table is designed to be set upon any available solid surface that is a comfortable size and height for the players to compete, the table is a rectangular open bottom framed box, it has two foam elbow pads, two foam pin pads and two hand grip posts, all of which set into specific cutouts on the table. In the transportation mode the table folds in half using a hinge that is on the underside of the table, all of the pads and the handgrips are easily removed from cutouts and are stored advantageously inside of the table itself, the table can then be secured in a closed position and carried using carrying handles attached to the ends of the table.

A wrist and forearm exercise device includes first and second handle sections each having an elongated generally tubular shape. A central pin can be disposed between the handle sections to limit all movement other than independent radial movement of each handle section. A plurality of resistance members extend between the handle sections and are attached to posts that extend perpendicular to the major axis of the device. A pair of knobs are provided along the distal ends of the handles. The knobs function to permit exercise of the hands and forearms through ulnar and radial deviation of the wrists, whereas the handle sections permit exercise of the hands and forearms through flexion and extension movements of the wrists.

20240245949 · 2024-07-25 ·

A two part peg system including a handle used by arm-wrestlers to hold while armwrestling (the peg has a male thread), and a second part which is a peg base having a head that rests on the surface of the table and also a vertical body. The body passes through the leather, foam, wooden top and steel frame. The male portion (thread) of the peg base is responsible of holding leather, foam, wooden top and steel frame only when fastened or locked (the strength and rigidity is attained only when fastened or locked). The female thread of peg base passes through the head as well as the body of the peg base and creates a space to receive the male portion of the peg. The peg base holds the table wooden top including its leather and foam with steel frame together, and allows the peg to sit in it.

Table for armwrestling that enables upright assembly thereof

The conventionally available tables for armwrestling are assembled upside down with the need of two external bolts to be fastened into pegs. Also, four external bolts are needed to attach the base to the legs. This method is extremely annoying especially when an arm-wrestling team wants to move their table from one place to another. The need for flipping the table top over and positioning it on the floor can damage the leather if there is nothing placed on the floor. In contrast, the present disclosure provides an improved table for armwrestling that enables upright assembly thereof. No external bolts are needed to be attached or detached at the base. None of the upper 4 Allen bolts need to be completely out of their sockets. Once these Allen bolts are out of their path in the solid bar, table top can be easily lifted for disassembly.

Apparatus for strengthening arm muscles

An apparatus for strengthening arm muscles, including a framework, a tabletop on the framework, an elbow pad and a touch pad on the tabletop. A hinged lever with a handle is coupled to a horizontal shaft, which in turn is coupled to a vertical shaft. A grooved wheel is disposed on the vertical shaft under the tabletop, and a wire is laid in the groove of the wheel. One end of the wire is fixed to the wheel and the other end of the wire is detachably fixed to a counterbalance weight, so that when the counterbalance weight is in a lower extreme position, the lever is in an initial position, and when the lever is in a reclined position, the counterbalance weight is in an elevated position relative to its lower extreme position.
