MULTIPURPOSE AND UNIVERSAL WRENCH
A multipurpose and universal wrench for tightening and loosening a fastener, such as a lug nut. The wrench or lug nut wrench can be adapted to lug nuts of varied sizes and shapes. The wrench includes four arms arranged in a cross shape, and three arms are functional while the fourth arm has a torque adjusting handle. Sockets can be interchangeably coupled to the three functional arms. Moreover, the arms are telescoping allowing changing the effective length of the arms. The two opposite functional arms can pivot for collapsing the wrench for storage.
Socket assembly
A socket assembly includes an outer socket, an inner socket mounted in the outer socket, and an intermediate socket mounted in the outer socket. The outer socket has a plurality of drive blocks and a plurality of retaining grooves. The inner socket includes a first base, a plurality of first driving sections, and a plurality of first openings. The intermediate socket includes a second base, a plurality of second driving sections, and a plurality of second openings. Thus, the inner diameter defined between the first driving sections is smaller than that defined between the second driving sections by 2 mm, and the inner diameter defined between the second driving sections is smaller than that defined between the drive blocks by 2 mm, so that the inner socket, the intermediate socket and the outer socket co-operate to operate three successive sizes of nuts.
Multi-functional utility service tool
A utility tool for operating a utility meter set includes an elongate body member having opposed first and second ends. A regulator cap member is coupled to a first end of the body member and defines an aperture configured to grip a regulator cap of the meter set. The regulator cap member may include first and second portions in communication with one another and configured to loosen multiple regulator cap models, respectively. A service valve member is coupled to the second end of the body member and has an offset wrench head for operating a service valve of the meter set. A pressure adjustment member is coupled to the body member intermediate the opposed ends for adjusting the regulator pressure once the regulator cap is removed. The body member defines one or more bypass apertures having a configuration complementary to that of a bypass plug associated with the meter set.
Apparatus for removing lug nuts on a vehicle tire
An apparatus for removing lug nuts for changing a tire on a vehicle has a bracing structure and at least three arms connected to the bracing structure. A first arm extends upward and a second arm, adapted to operate as a footrest, extends outward and both arms are positioned such that one may stand on the second arm to generate extra torque while grasping the first arm for stability. A third arm is adapted to receive a socket and is oriented along the socket's axis of rotation. All arms are collapsible for storage.
Combination of control cabinet keys
The invention relates to a combination (1) of control cabinet keys (2), individual keys being situated in the same plane but extending at a fixed angle (x) relative to one another and connected via a common center part (4, 5). Due to the fixed connection between the keys, during handling, a torque may be applied to a key (2) that is used. For ease of handling, a first unit (E.sub.1) and a second unit (E.sub.2) of keys extending at a fixed angle (x) relative to one another are provided, all units (E.sub.1, E.sub.2) have their own center part, and the units are detachably connected at their center parts (4, 5), and/or the keys are rotatable relative to one another, but only in a respective predefined plane.
Mechanism that is non-engaging in forward direction and prevents direction change
A mechanism that is non-engaging in the forward direction and prevents direction change, comprising a dual ratchet sleeve (1). The dual ratchet sleeve is provided in the axial direction a one-way forward ratchet ring gear and a one-way reverse ratchet ring gear; a pawl base (2), the pawl base being provided with a first pawl (21) and a second pawl (22) capable of moving in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the dual ratchet sleeve; an eccentric drive mechanism (3) for driving the first and second pawl to act, the axis of the eccentric wheel axle (32) of the eccentric drive mechanism being perpendicular to the axis of the dual ratchet sleeve; a tool handle (4) for driving the pawl base to rotate, the tool handle being connected to and fixed on the eccentric wheel (31) or the eccentric wheel axle (32) of the eccentric drive mechanism so as to enable the linkage of the tool handle and the eccentric wheel. The mechanism that is non-engaging in the forward direction and prevents direction change meets the working requirements under multiple states and directly enables torque transmission and state change by means of the handle.
Tire dolly
The tire dolly is a kit of components that are used to aid in replacing a tire with respect to a vehicle. The tire dolly includes a wrench, an adjustable stand, an extension member, and a tire skate. The wrench and adjustable stand work together to aid in loosening lug nuts of a first tire. An extension member is included with the tire dolly, and is attached onto a distal end of the wrench in order to generate more leverage with the wrench, and aid in loosening tight lug nuts. Once the lug nuts are loosened, the tire skate is secured to the tire via a strap, and the first tire is unbolted from the vehicle. The tire skate features a plurality of wheels that mobilize the tire skate and the first tire.
Detachable and torque adjustable cross wrench
A detachable and torque-adjustable cross wrench includes a primary bar and a torque-setting secondary bar, and an end of the primary bar is a socket insertion end and the other end of the primary bar is installed with an assistant turning handle provided for pivoting. A penetrating hole formed at a thickening middle section is provided for connecting the torque-setting secondary bar to form a cross wrench. The torque-setting secondary bar includes a plugging inner rod with a spacer ring slot, a force applying outer rod containing a torque-setting module, a handheld turning handle, an elastic pushing member, a torque-adjusting screw cap and a retaining ring. The torque-adjusting screw cap is provided for rotating and adjusting the torque-setting module to a predetermined torque value, so as to achieve an expected torque-setting.
