Method for connecting at least two structural parts of an orthopedic component and orthopedic component having at least two structural parts
A method for connecting at least two structural parts of an orthopedic component, wherein the structural parts are retained in an orienting device while oriented in relation to each other, and an intermediate space thus being formed between the structural parts. The orienting device and the structural parts together form a cavity, which has a flow connection to at least one feed connection, via which an adhesive for adhesively bonding the structural parts is introduced into the cavity.
Load introduction device and method for adhesive bonding of a load introduction device
A load introduction device and a method for adhesive bonding of a load introduction device for fiber composite materials is disclosed. A sealant, particularly a first adhesive is used in the creation of a cavity and in the creation of a secured arrangement for the injection of adhesive into the cavity.
Process for pick and place of electronic components in a vacuum
A process for placing a circuit array on a sheet having adhesive during a pick and place operation in which a vacuum is used during its placement to minimize air bubbles between the adhesive layer and the circuit array.
A CONNECTOR BODY, A STRUCTURE INCLUDING THE CONNECTOR BODY, AND A METHOD OF FORMING THE STRUCTURE
A connector body having a first end portion defining a first end face of the body and an opposite second end portion defining a second end face of the body, the first end portion including a first peripheral groove with a first sealing ring, and the second end portion including a second peripheral groove with a second sealing ring, an intermediate portion of the—body defining a peripheral surface extending between the first sealing ring and the second sealing ring, the peripheral surface to be covered by the retaining glue for bonding the body to the tube, a glue flow passage at the first end portion extending transversally to the first sealing ring, and a glue injection channel extending from the first end portion towards the second end portion and including a glue injection port in the first end portion and a glue ejection port at the peripheral surface.
Composite vehicle driveshaft assembly with bonded end yoke and method for producing same
A composite vehicle driveshaft assembly includes a composite tube and a yoke bonded to one of the ends of the tube. The yoke has an inner sleeve that is concentrically received in the end of the tube. The sleeve has an outer peripheral surface that faces the inner peripheral surface of the tube with a cavity formed therebetween. An adhesive injection passage is formed in the yoke and extends at an acute angle from an inlet that is formed in an axial surface of the yoke to an outlet that is formed in the outer peripheral surface of the sleeve and that opens into the cavity. Also disclosed is a method of bonding a yoke of such a driveshaft assembly to a composite tube.
AGILE ROBOTIC HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY WITH SONIC FASTENING AND INJECTED LENS ADHESIVE
A system and method for assembling a plurality of components into an assembly is provided. The system includes an assembling robot and an adhesive dispensing robot. The assembling robot is configured to attach a first sub-assembly to a second sub-assembly. The first sub-assembly includes at least one of the plurality of components, and the second sub-assembly includes remaining ones of the plurality of components. The adhesive dispensing robot is configured to apply an adhesive between the first sub-assembly and the second sub-assembly, after the first sub-assembly is attached to the second sub-assembly, to bond the first sub-assembly to the second sub-assembly.
Methods of forming a pipe joint between a pipe section and a pipe fitting
A method of forming a pipe joint between a pipe section and a pipe fitting includes inserting an end of the pipe section into a socket of the pipe fitting, and attaching a removable clamp to the pipe section and pipe fitting. The socket includes a centering device and a pipe stop that is configured to receive the end of the pipe section. The clamp includes a plurality of arcuate segments and a tightening mechanism, and each arcuate member has a removable/replaceable sealing member. The arcuate members are radially compressed via the tightening mechanism to cause the respective sealing members to seal an open end of the gap. A bonding agent is then injected into the gap via a port that extends through the pipe fitting. Once the bonding agent has been injected, the clamp is removed and can be reused.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A STRUCTURAL ELEMENT OF A WIND TURBINE BLADE, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A WIND TURBINE BLADE, STRUCTURAL ELEMENT OF A WIND TURBINE BLADE AND WIND TURBINE BLADE
A method for manufacturing a structural element of a wind turbine blade including forming of at least one injection hole in at least one laminate provided on a top side of a core material of a first portion and a second portion of the structural element and a bottom side of a core material of the first portion and the second portion, so that the at least one injection hole is fluidically connected to the cavity. Further, injecting adhesive through the injection hole into the cavity, curing the adhesive injected into the cavity and thereby forming a joint between an end of the core material of the first portion and an end of the core material of the second portion. Further, a method for manufacturing a wind turbine blade and the structural element, the wind turbine blade is also provided.
COMPLIANT JOINT DRIVE ASSEMBLY
A method of forming a dielectric barrier and torque transfer member between a drive shaft and a driven shaft of a torque transfer assembly. The method includes assembling the drive shaft and the driven shaft in axially adjacent relationship to one another, the drive shaft and the driven shaft each having a recess formed therein such that when the shafts are assembled, the recesses cooperate to define a chamber extending across the interface between the drive and driven shaft and into the interior of both the drive and the driven shaft. The method further includes injecting a dielectric adhesive or resin material into the chamber to fill the chamber and to extend across the interface between the drive and the driven shaft, and curing the dielectric material to form a dielectric barrier between and to provide torque transfer between the drive and the driven shaft.
ENDOSCOPE
An endoscope including a bending section, a control device, at least one steering wire, a distal tip part including an exterior housing including a circumferentially extending side wall with a proximal opening, a camera assembly positioned in an interior cavity of the exterior housing, and an interior housing part positioned in the exterior housing, wherein a distal segment of the at least one steering wire is fixed to a wire portion of the interior housing part so that manipulation of the control device causes bending of the bending section.
