Materials and Methods
Multi-layered articles or products comprising layers of filled polymer compositions, methods of making and applications or uses thereof.
AIR CONDITIONER PIPING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
An air conditioning piping system of the disclosure includes a refrigerant pipe made of a plastic material and configured to provide a fluid flow between components constituting an air conditioning system; at least one connection flange made of the plastic material and configured to provide a connection between the refrigerant pipe and components constituting the air conditioner system; and at least one charging port made of the plastic material and having a charging valve configured to inject a refrigerant into the refrigerant pipe.
Films and bags with visually distinct regions and methods of making the same
One or more implementations of a multi-layer film include a first layer non-continuously bonded to a second pigmented layer. The multi-layer film includes an unexpected appearance differing from the appearance of the pigmented layer. In one or more embodiments, the multi-layer film includes a metallic appearance despite the pigmented layer being devoid of metallic pigment. The multi-layer film also includes areas that are visually distinct from areas of the film with the unexpected appearance. The visually-distinct areas comprise areas in which the first layer non-continuously is in intimate contact with the second pigmented layer. The visually-distinct areas have the appearance of the pigmented layer or another appearance. One or more implementations also include methods of making multi-layer films and bags with an unexpected appearance and visually-distinct areas.
Ultrasonic welding method, structure welded by ultrasonic welding method, and ultrasonic welding device
A pair of thermoplastic resin members are placed on an anvil. A pressing force of a tool horn vibrating ultrasonically in a direction not perpendicular to but along upper surfaces of the pair of thermoplastic resin members is applied to the upper surfaces. The application of the pressing force of the tool horn vibrating ultrasonically allows melting of a vicinity of the upper surfaces of the pair of thermoplastic resin members. A welded structure part is formed on an unwelded structure part, thereby welding the pair of thermoplastic resin members as an overlap structure including the welded structure part arranged on the unwelded structure part. The distance and positional relationship between the pair of thermoplastic resin members after the welding are unchanged before and after the welding. The surfaces, placed on the anvil, of the thermoplastic resin members are neither burned nor discolored.

Method of Forming a Shaped Article
A method of forming shaped articles by welding.
FILMS AND BAGS WITH VISUALLY DISTINCT REGIONS

Motor device and method for producing same
A wide section 71d which contacts a connector member and positions the connector member relative to a connector housing part is provided in a section where a first securing part 71b of a cover member 70 is provided and is configured so as to be wider than the other parts of the section where the first securing part 71b of the cover member 70 is provided; hence, it is possible to use the wide section 71d in the pressing section (pressing point OP) of an extrusion pin. As a result, it is possible to suppress distortion of the cover member 70 and to sufficiently smooth the welded section (first securing part 71b) of the cover member 70 even when the shape of the cover member 70 is complicated.
PIPING SYSTEM FOR AIR CONDITIONER
Disclosed herein is a piping system for an air conditioner, in which a refrigerant pipe being an air conditioning piping of a vehicle and a flange member are each made of a plastic material, and the refrigerant pipe and the flange member can be connected by laser fusing. That is, the present disclosure provides the piping system for an air conditioner, in which the refrigerant pipe and the flange member are each made of a plastic material having a vibration insulation effect and are connected by laser fusing which can prevent damage so that an effect of weight reduction and vibration insulation can be provided and a pressure loss of a refrigerant fluid can be minimized by maintaining a diameter of the refrigerant pipe to be constant with respect to an overall length of the refrigerant pipe.
ULTRASONIC WELDING METHOD, STRUCTURE WELDED BY ULTRASONIC WELDING METHOD, AND ULTRASONIC WELDING DEVICE
