Some embodiments of the present disclosure relate to photovoltaic module for use on a roof. In some embodiments, the photovoltaic module may include a solar cell and a polymeric continuous fiber tape. In some embodiments, the polymeric continuous fiber tape comprises a polymer and glass fiber. In some embodiments, the glass fiber is present in an amount greater than about 50% by weight based on a total weight of the polymeric continuous fiber tape. In some embodiments, the polymeric continuous fiber tape comprises an elastic modulus greater than 1 GPa and an optical transmission greater than 80%.

An electro-optic window includes a first substrate; an electro-optic element generally parallel to the first substrate, the electro-optic element including: a second substrate; a third substrate generally parallel to the second substrate; a sealing member disposed along at least a portion of a perimeter of one of the second and third substrates and extending therebetween; and a cavity defined between the second and third substrates. The sealing member defines the sidewalls of the cavity. A first layer of film having a perimeter portion and a central portion is disposed between at least a portion of the first and second substrates, and may be coextensive with the sealing member.

A laminated pane, includes an outer pane, an inner pane, and at least two intermediate layers, wherein at least two separate functional elements with electrically controllable optical properties are arranged in a plane between the two intermediate layers, wherein on two opposite sides of each functional element, an inner bus bar is connected in each case to the respective functional element and at least one of the two opposite sides of each functional element is sealed by two PET barrier films, which are partly arranged between an intermediate layer and the functional element, wherein attached on one of the PET barrier films is at least one outer bus bar that is connected via an electrically conducting connection to the inner bus bar of a functional element, in order to electrically control the functional element separately from the other functional element or elements.

Provided is an interlayer film for laminated glass capable of enhancing the sound insulating property and the interlayer adhesive force in an interlayer film having increased transparency. An interlayer film for laminated glass according to the present invention is an interlayer film for laminated glass having a one-layer or two or more-layer structure, the interlayer film includes a first layer containing a vinyl monomer polymer, the vinyl monomer polymer is a polymer of a polymerizable composition containing a monomer having a functional group having hydrogen bondability, and a laminated glass in which the interlayer film for laminated glass is arranged between two sheets of float glass having a thickness of 2.0 mm, a length of 30 mm and a width of 2.5 cm in conformity with JIS R3202 has a haze, measured in conformity with JIS K6714 by using a haze meter, of 0.5% or less.

ELECTROCHROMIC DEVICE ASSEMBLIES
An electrochromic device is provided. The device includes a first substrate and a second substrate. The device includes electrochromic material, with the first substrate, the electrochromic material and the second substrate forming a laminate, the first substrate offset in a lateral direction from the second substrate along at least a portion of an edge of the electrochromic device. The device includes a plurality of terminals coupled to the electrochromic material, with at least two of the plurality of terminals exposed on the first substrate by the first substrate being offset in the lateral direction from the second substrate. A method of manufacturing an electrochromic device is also provided.
GLAZING UNIT WITH A HOUSING
An improved a glazing unit extending along a plane, P, defined by a longitudinal axis, X, and a vertical axis, Z; having a width, DW, measured along the longitudinal axis, X, and a length, DL, measured along the vertical axis, Z, including, at least a first outer glass panel having a S11 surface and a S12 surface and a second inner glass panel having a S21 surface and a S22 surface combined together while maintaining the two glass panels at a certain distance between the surface S12 of the first outer glass panel and the surface S21 of the second inner glass sheet. The glazing unit further includes a housing able to accommodate a 4G and/or 5G communication device and has an opening arranged on the second inner glass panel, the housing having been placed in the opening.
LAMINATED GLASS
A laminated glass includes first and second glass plates. First and second interlayers are arranged on the first and second glass plates, respectively. The first and second glass plates are arranged so as to have the first and second interlayers face each other. An enclosing layer is arranged between the first and second interlayers. The enclosing layer includes a functional member having a sidewall, and a dummy layer arranged on the sidewall, the functional member including one or more transparent layers. The functional member has a thickness of 200 μm at a maximum. The dummy layer is made of a thermoplastic resin. When denoting an average refractive index of the transparent layers included in the functional member as nA, and denoting a refractive index of the dummy layer as nB, a difference Δn of the refractive indices expressed by an absolute value |nA−nB| is 0.05 or less.

Laminated glass having a first glass substrate and a second glass substrate laminated to each other, which has a first interlayer disposed between the first glass substrate and the second glass substrate and being in contact with the first glass substrate, a second interlayer disposed between the first glass substrate and the second glass substrate and being in contact with the second glass substrate, first and second functional members disposed between the first interlayer and the second interlayer and being in contact with the first interlayer and the second interlayer, wherein the first and second functional members have a higher rigidity than the first and second interlayers, and the first and second functional members are spaced apart from each other by a distance d when the laminated glass is viewed in plan view, and said distance d is at least 15 mm.
