Hooping reinforcement for a tire of a heavy duty civil engineering vehicle
A hooping reinforcement of a tire for a heavy duty civil engineering type vehicle is disclosed. The crown reinforcement (3) of the tire (1), radially on the inside of a tread (2), comprises a protective reinforcement (6), a working reinforcement (5) and a hooping reinforcement (7). Said hooping reinforcement (7) has an axial width at most equal to the smallest axial width (L61, L62) of the two working layers (61, 62), and comprises at least two hooping layers (71, 72) that are formed from strips each made up of elastic metal reinforcers. Each hooping layer (71, 72) is made up of an axial juxtaposition of contiguous turns of the strip (8), which are circumferentially wound around the working layer (51). Each strip (8) is at least 35 mm and at most 250 mm thick, and its distributed breaking tension is at least equal to 100 daN/mm.
Motorcycle tyre
A motorcycle tyre includes a tread portion, a pair of bead portions, a toroidal carcass extending between the pair of bead portions, and a band layer disposed outward in a tyre radial direction of the carcass and inside the tread portion. The band layer includes a band ply having one or more steel cords spirally wound in a tyre circumferential direction. The tyre has a parameter (A) in which a load index LI (kg) of the tyre is divided by a bending/compression stiffness ratio that is obtained by dividing a bending stiffness (g.Math.cm) of the steel cords by a compression stiffness (N/mm) of the steel cords being in a range of 1500 to 6000.
Crown Reinforcement of a Tire for a Heavy Construction Plant Vehicle
A tire (1) for a heavy construction plant vehicle with satisfactory compromise between the breaking strength of its circumferential hoop reinforcement (7), having an axial width LF and having a circumferential hooping layer (71, 72) with elastic metallic reinforcers having a structural elongation AS and a force at break FR, and forming an angle at most equal to 5° with the circumferential direction (XX), and the endurance of its working reinforcement (6), formed by two working layers (61, 62) with inextensible metallic reinforcers, the mean angle AM of which with the circumferential direction (XX′) is at least equal to 15° and at most equal to 45°. The axial width LF, the structural elongation As, the force at break Fr and the mean angle AM satisfy the relationship:

TIRE COMPRISING AN OPTIMIZED ARCHITECTURE
A tire (10) for a vehicle comprises a radially outermost working layer (41) which comprises at least one undulation (412) in line with a central rib (251) of the tread (2). The undulation (412) is radially on the outside of the points of the working layer (41) in line with the bottom face (243) of the circumferential groove (24) closest to the undulation (412) and has an amplitude of at least 1 mm. The undulation (412) is vertically in line above at least one local reinforcing layer (6) comprising reinforcing elements that are mutually parallel and make with the circumferential direction (XX′) of the tire an angle of which the absolute value is at most equal to 5°.
TIRE FOR IMPROVED NOISE PERFORMANCE
The tire includes a tread that has a contact face of a width TW and is provided with a groove of a depth D. The tread has a center region and a pair of shoulder regions. The shoulder regions each have a shoulder rubber layer of a thickness is made of a shoulder rubber composition. A shear storage modulus G′ of the shoulder rubber composition is less than or equal to 1.0 MPa. The tire also has a cap ply whose cable extends generally in circumferential orientation and is positioned radially inbetween the tread and the ply at least in a region corresponding to the shoulder regions of the tread and the ply. A force F.sub.5% of the cap ply is greater than 900 N per 10 mm of a cap ply width under 5% strain in a direction cable of the cap ply is extending.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
In a pneumatic tire including a carcass layer mounted between a pair of bead portions and a belt reinforcing layer disposed on an outer circumferential side of the carcass layer, the carcass layer is formed of a carcass cord made of an organic fiber cord, an elongation at break of the carcass cord is set to 20% or more, an elongation under a load of 1.5 cN/dtex of the carcass cord in sidewall portions is set to from 5.0% to 8.0%, the belt reinforcing layer is formed of a cover cord made of an organic fiber cord, and a tensile strength of the cover cord per width of 50 mm at a 3.0% elongation is set to from 2.8 kN to 4.0 kN.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
In a pneumatic tire including a carcass layer mounted between a pair of bead portions and a belt reinforcing layer disposed on an outer circumferential side of the carcass layer, the carcass layer is formed of a carcass cord made of an organic fiber cord, an elongation at break of the carcass cord is set to 20% or more, an elongation under a load of 1.5 cN/dtex of the carcass cord on the inner circumferential side of the belt layers is set to from 5.5% to 8.5%, the belt reinforcing layer is formed of a cover cord made of an organic fiber cord, and a tensile strength of the cover cord per width of 50 mm at a 3.0% elongation is set to from 2.8 kN to 4.0 kN.
PNEUMATIC MOTORCYCLE TIRE
The pneumatic motorcycle tire includes a spiral belt, wherein: an aspect ratio of the tire is 60% or more; at a standard condition, each lap of reinforcing cords is located at a constant spacing along a periphery of the spiral belt among the entire tire width direction; in the tire widthwise cross section, a spacing A along the periphery of the spiral belt between each lap of the reinforcing cords adjacent in the tire width direction is 3.5 mm or more and 6.0 mm or less; a spacing B along the periphery of the spiral belt between the two reinforcing cords for forming the strip member is 0.8 mm or more and 1.5 mm or less; and a rupture strength of one of the reinforcing cords is 200 N or more and 1000 N or less.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire comprises a carcass layer, a belt layer disposed on an outer side of the carcass layer in a tire radial direction, and a tread rubber disposed on the outer side of the belt layer in the tire radial direction.
