HEAD REST
A headrest is provided including a movable unit that can be shifted to multiple positions in the front-rear direction in a normal mode. A headrest includes first and second headrest pillars, a stationary unit disposed between the first and second headrest pillars, a movable unit movable apart from or close to the stationary unit toward a front or rear direction, an X linkage connecting the stationary unit to the movable unit and including an inside linkage segment and an outside linkage segment rotatably connected each other at a central connecting intersection, and a front-rear locking mechanism including a lock receiver and a locking component engageable with the lock receiver, to lock or unlock the movable unit movable relative to the stationary unit toward the front or rear direction.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMPROVING THE ADJUSTMENT OF A VEHICLE HEADREST USING GESTURES
Systems and methods are provided for improved and intuitive adjustment of a vehicle headrest. A vehicle headrest adjustment system may include touch sensors and/or motion sensors to determine a driver or passenger intends to adjust a vehicle headrest. Upon detection of touch consistent with intent to adjust a vehicle headrest and/or a hand gesture consistent with intent to adjust a vehicle headrest, a system may unlock a vehicle headrest. A driver or passenger may move the unlocked vehicle headrest into the desired position. Upon detection of a condition indicating the driver or passenger is finished and/or upon a set period of time elapsing, the system may re-lock the vehicle headrest into place. A vehicle headrest adjustment system may also include a power-assist function. The power-assist function may include motors and force sensors to assist a driver or passenger in moving a vehicle headrest into a desired position.

Child restraint base and child restraint system
A child restraint base adapted for a child restraint carrier includes a base body for mounting the child restraint carrier, a first panel component, a second panel component, an anchor belt and a third panel component. The first panel component and the second panel component are disposed on the base body and spaced from each other. A first through slot is formed between the first panel component and the base body. A second through slot is formed between the second panel component and the base body. The anchor belt passes through the first through slot and the second through slot and is slidable between an in-use position and a stored position. The third panel component is disposed between the first panel component and the second panel component and pivotable between an opened position and a closed position for tensioning the anchor belt to remove slack from the anchor belt.

Headrest locking device
The present invention relates to a headrest locking device, and more particularly, to a headrest locking device including a case and a lock plate slidably accommodated in the case and inserted in an engaging groove of a stay rod. Here, a horizontal tension rib is located between the lock plate and the case. The horizontal tension rib applies an elastic force to the lock plate in a direction different from a sliding direction of the lock plate, and the lock plate has a panel shape formed by integrating a body inserted into the engaging groove with the horizontal tension rib. A gap between the lock plate and the case is eliminated and a restoring function is embodied at the same time, and manufacturing costs of the lock plate are reduced.

Quick release headrest removal assembly
A headrest removal assembly is disclosed. The assembly may include a plunger including a plunger shaft and lever portion. The assembly may include a compressible spring coupled to the plunger and configured to surround at least a portion of the plunger shaft. The plunger configured to translate the stopper between at least a first position and a second position when a force is applied to the lever portion of the plunger to cause the plunger to compress a portion of the compressible spring within the cavity of the base to cause the stopper to disengage from the cavity within the headrest support plate to cause the headrest removal assembly to disengage from the headrest support plate.
