CARGO RESTRAINING SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE, A VEHICLE COMPRISING A CARGO RESTRAINING SYSTEM, AND A METHOD FOR OPERATING A CARGO RESTRAINING SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A cargo restraining system for a vehicle includes an extended flexible structure movably connected to a positioning arrangement. The flexible structure is adapted for holding cargo arranged on a cargo floor of a vehicle cargo compartment in position in relation to the cargo floor, and the flexible structure is sized to cover at least a part of the cargo floor. The positioning arrangement is adapted for enabling movement of the flexible structure between a storage position and a load securing position, where in the storage position the flexible structure is adapted to be positioned on a first height from the cargo floor, and where in the load securing position the flexible structure is adapted to be positioned on a second height from the cargo floor. The first height is different from the second height.
Tensioning system
An improved tensioning system and method of restraining cargo is provided. The tensioning system is easy and quick to operate. The tensioning system is compact and minimises space within a cargo bay. The tensioning system allows a greater angular displacement of a tensioning line over conventional tensioning system, such as a ratchet and strap mechanism.
TRANSPORT CART FOR PIECE GOODS
A transport wagon with a loading platform configured to have a loaded state, wherein in the loaded state, cargo may be loaded onto the loading platform and wherein the loading platform extends along a longitudinal axis; a strapping system configured to secure the cargo on the loading platform, wherein the strapping system comprises at least one tensioning means configured to be guided, with the aid of a conveying device, at least partially around the cargo loaded onto the loading platform thereby tensioning the cargo against the loading platform; wherein the loading platform is delimited at a frontal end by transverse side parts comprising the conveying device of the strapping system; and wherein the at least one tensioning means is affixed to the transport wagon and configured to move along the longitudinal axis relative to the loading platform.
Tensioning system with locking assembly for cargo securement
A locking assembly is provided including a frame. The frame includes a slot and a recess positioned at a top portion of the frame. The assembly further includes a handle rotatably coupled to an end of the frame that is opposite the slot. The handle is rotatable between an open position and a closed position. The slot is configured to receive an attachment means. When the attachment means is in the slot and the handle is in the closed position, the handle is positioned in the slot on top of the attachment means such that the attachment means is prevented from moving with respect to the frame. A latch may be mounted to the handle. The latch is slidable between a locked position where a pin extending from the latch engages the recess of the frame and an unlocked position where the pin is positioned outside the recess.
Floating load tension assembly with high visibility
A load tension assembly including—an enclosure formed by a first side and a second side opposite to the first side and connected to the first side at a first end and a second, wherein the Enclosure includes a primary float capability great enough to maintain floatation of the load tension assembly, is disclosed herein
REDUCTION GEAR BOX FOR A CHAIN BINDER
The reduction gear box for a chain binder generally includes a housing member, a nozzle on the housing member to which a power tool may be connected, and an opening in the housing member within which the shaft portion of a chain binder may extend. The housing member includes a worm gear assembly and a main gear assembly therein. The worm gear assembly is in communication with the main gear assembly such that rotation of the worm gear assembly causes the main gear assembly also to rotate. In use, a shaft portion of a chain binder can be positioned within the housing opening and in communication with the main gear assembly. The power tool can be operated to rotate the worm gear assembly, and thereby effectuate rotation of the main gear assembly to extend or retract the chain binder in communication therewith.
Load Binder Systems
A binder includes a right angle drive including a driving gear interfacing with a driven gear. A receptacle arranged substantially at a center of a diameter of the driving gear can receive a bit of a power driver. The bit of the power driver removeably received by the receptacle arranged at the center of the driving gear can rotate a threaded gear tube relative to the first and second threaded rods to linearly displace the first and second threaded rods of the binder to tension a tensionable load bearing member and lock the binder.
Tie down apparatus and system
A tie down system having a first attachment member having an engagement portion adapted to engage with a portion of a track, a second attachment member having an engagement portion adapted to engage with a portion of the track, the second attachment member rotatably attached relative to the first attachment member, a cam member rotatably attached relative to the first attachment member, and rotatable between a biased position in which the cam member engages with a portion of the track and a release position in which the cam member is disengaged from the track, and a connection portion adapted to connect to a strap, wherein the first and second attachment members are rotatable relative to each other between an engagement position in which the engagement portions engage with the track and inhibit movement of the attachment members relative to the track, and an open position in which the attachment members are movable relative to the track.
TENSIONING DEVICE INCLUDING A CLUTCH ASSEMBLY
A tensioning device includes a housing, a drive member, an inner sleeve, a driven member, and a clutch assembly. The housing includes an attachment feature. The drive member is rotatably coupled with the housing. The inner sleeve is disposed in the housing and is coupled with the drive member. The inner sleeve is rotatable together with the drive member relative to the housing. The driven member is disposed within the housing and is operably coupled with the drive member. The clutch assembly facilitates selective coupling between the drive member and the inner sleeve. A second attachment feature is coupled with the driven member. The driven member is slidably coupled with the inner sleeve such that the driven member and the second attachment feature are translatable together between a retracted position and an extended position in response to rotation of the inner sleeve.
SECURING APPARATUS FOR FLATBED TRAILER
A securing apparatus configured to provide automated tensioning and loosening of a strap being utilized to secure an object to a flatbed trailer. The present invention includes a first plate member that is movably mounted proximate the bottom surface of the flatbed trailer. The first plate member includes an aperture proximate the first end thereof. A cylinder bracket member is present on the bottom surface of the first plate member and is surroundably present to the aperture. A cylinder is releasably secured to the cylinder bracket member and the piston thereof is configured to pass through the aperture and engage the bottom of the flatbed trailer. A hook member is formed on the first end of the first plate member and is configured to have an end of strap secured thereto. The first plate member is movable with respect to the trailer.
