SECUREMENT DEVICE
In one embodiment, a securement device includes a main body including a first restraint defined in the main body, a second restraint defined in the main body. The first and second restraint are disposed along separate respective restraint axes, the first restraint is adapted to receive a first flexible element, and the second restraint is adapted to receive a second flexible element.
WINCH FOR FLATBED TRUCKS THAT IS DESIGNED TO BE TIGHTENED WITH A STANDARD TORQUE WRENCH
A winch socket driver interface is provided for winding and unwinding a cargo winch when strapping cargo. The socket driver interface may include a receiving socket dimensioned and adapted for operatively associating with a standard torque wrench driver or other socket-driven tools for rotating the rotation bar of the cargo winch, thereby enabling the selective tightening and loosening of cargo straps.
Method of raising or lowering a landing gear
A torque load binder for changing tension in a chain or strap securing a load to a vehicle or support surface. The load binder includes a housing with an internal gear mechanism and a connector mechanism operatively engaged with the gear mechanism and extending outwardly from the housing. A high speed first driveshaft and a lower speed second driveshaft on the load binder are selectively individually actuated to effect movement between first and second end linkages of the connector mechanism. The first driveshaft effects movement between the first and second end linkages at a first speed and the second driveshaft effects movement between the end linkages at a lower second speed. Rotation of either of the first or second driveshafts actuates the connector mechanism, changing the distance between the first and second end linkages, and thereby changing the tension in the tie-down.
CARGO STRAP
A strap system for securing cargo/items to a desired location such as the frame of a vehicle and/or to other gear. The strap system includes at least a first strap segment, and more preferably, a plurality of strap segments that couple together sequentially, e.g., end-to-end, via quick-release connectors such as side-release buckles. A first strap segment (or center strap segment) includes first and second ends that removably couple to second and third strap segments, respectively, via quick-release connectors. The second and third strap segments further includes attachment members disposed at an end of each, the attachment members having a substantially C-shaped hook profile to couple to various strap anchor points such as PALS webbing.
Cargo Strap winch rapid rewinding tool
This invention is for safely speeding up the rewinding of a strap used to secure cargo on a truck or trailer. The Tool consists of a shaft which in use extends into the inside of a conventional strap winch drum. At the end of the shaft is a cylindrical elastomeric plug which is a tight fit into the inside of the winding drum. The shaft is then connected to a rotary drive apparatus comprising a hand crank or is power driven.
Because the tool can be simply pushed into the drum and operated without the requirement of alignment of the shaft, for a mechanical connection between the shaft and winch drum, the operator's hands need not be on the tool other than on the handle which is not above the drum. This is typically quicker and safer than the prior art.
TRANSPORT CART FOR PIECE GOODS
A transport wagon with a loading platform configured to have a loaded state, wherein in the loaded state, cargo may be loaded onto the loading platform and wherein the loading platform extends along a longitudinal axis; a strapping system configured to secure the cargo on the loading platform, wherein the strapping system comprises at least one tensioning means configured to be guided, with the aid of a conveying device, at least partially around the cargo loaded onto the loading platform thereby tensioning the cargo against the loading platform; wherein the loading platform is delimited at a frontal end by transverse side parts comprising the conveying device of the strapping system; and wherein the at least one tensioning means is affixed to the transport wagon and configured to move along the longitudinal axis relative to the loading platform.
DEVICE FOR AIDING A TRUCK DRIVER IN LOADING OR UNLOADING A CARGO PLATFORM
Device for aiding a truck driver in loading/unloading a cargo platform including a grapple that connects to a telescopic handle. The grapple includes two arms forming grooves at the centre. Each arm includes hooks extending in opposing directions to help receive components used for securing a load to the cargo platform such as a flatbed truck. Components include cargo straps, winch straps, edge protectors, chains, binders, clips, plates, flanges, detents, hooks, cables, and the like. The grapple includes a plate member connecting the arms at one side and sliding along the grapple allowing the truck driver to use the grapple along with the telescopic handle. The plate member in conjunction with the grapple allows to hold/place components at desired location for securing the load to the cargo platform. The truck driver adjusts length of the telescopic handle and uses the grapple to hold components during loading/unloading of the cargo platform.
TIE DOWN STRAP ASSEMBLY INCLUDING A PLURALITY OF ANCHOR POINTS
A tie down strap assembly includes a strap and first and second hook assemblies disposed at respective opposing ends of the strap. The strap is formed of an elastic material. The strap defines a plurality of bores arranged along a length of the strap. Each of the first and second hook assemblies includes an engaging portion and a hook portion extending from the engaging portion. The engaging portion includes first and second sides. The engaging portion defines an opening extending through the first and second sides. The first side includes a mouth defining an aperture to receive a portion of the strap therethrough. The second side includes a boss configured to securely engage one bore of the plurality of bores of the strap. The hook portion is detachably couplable to the engaging portion of the other one of the first and second hook assemblies to interlock the first and second hook assemblies together.
Strap system for securing a payload
The present invention discloses a strap system for securing a payload. The strap system includes a first fastener having a connecting crosspiece, a reversing crosspiece, and a hanger capable of attaching to the payload, and all connected together on each side by lateral members. The strap system also includes a strap attached to the connecting crosspiece of the first fastener and capable of passing around the reversing crosspiece and tightening the strap around the payload.
MAGNETIC WEDGE CLAMP FOR A STRAP
A tool for holding a tie-down strap, which comprises a plate (1) and a magnet (2, 3), wherein the plate extends between a first surface, a second surface and an edge, wherein the magnet extends over a first height from the first surface, wherein the magnet is in mechanical contact with the first surface, wherein the plate comprises notches, wherein the notches comprise a first notch and a second notch, wherein the length of the first notch is of the order of magnitude of the width of a tie-down strap, wherein the width of the first notch is of the order of magnitude of the thickness of a tie-down strap, wherein the depth of the first notch is equal to the thickness of the plate, wherein the length of the second notch is of the order of magnitude of the width of a tie-down strap, wherein the width of the second notch is of the order of magnitude of the thickness of a tie-down strap, wherein the depth of the second notch is equal to the thickness of the plate, wherein the first notch and the second notch are guided in a first direction and wherein the magnet extends over the first surface between the notches and the edge of the plate along a first length and along a first width.
