TOWABLE TROLLEY FOR THE TRANSPORT OF EQUIPMENT
The towable trolley (1) for the transport of equipment (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) intended to be mounted on telescopic loaders or the like, comprising a support platform (10), movement members (7), for example wheels or the like, and one or more attachment units (8, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20), mounted on said platform (10) and adapted to stably secure at least one equipment to the platform (10) itself.
CARGO MANAGEMENT SYSTEM INCORPORATING A MAT OF MEMORY FOAM
A cargo management system is provided. That cargo management system includes a mat of memory foam and at least one adjustable stop positioned below the mat and forming a raised hump in the mat to help retain cargo from shifting or rolling during motor vehicle operation. A method of managing cargo in a motor vehicle is also disclosed.
High capacity cargo and container dolly
A high capacity cargo/container dolly. The cargo/container dolly includes retractable side stops that actively retract a roller linkage assembly upon retraction of the retractable side stops rather than relying on passive gravitational forces for the retraction. In some embodiments, the retractable side stops are configured to avoid hold up on the cargo during retraction. The retractable side stops may be coupled to a retraction mechanism that may be actuated from either side of the cargo/container dolly, as well as from one or both ends of the cargo/container dolly. The dolly may include aspects that accommodates dynamic loads that occur during transport to mitigate inadvertent retraction of the retractable side stops or spurious release of catch assemblies that retains cargo on the dolly. The dolly may also include self-locking roller assemblies that release only in the presence of cargo, and deck modules that protect the deck roller from road spray contamination.
SECURING AID AND SECURING STRUCTURE FOR ARTICLE TO BE TRANSPORTED
The present invention enables simple securing of an article to be transported without requiring provision of dedicated fixtures to securing surface. A securing aid, according to the present invention, which aids in securing an article to be transported to a securing surface of a transporting means carrying out the transportation, the securing aid comprising: a first fastening structure unit for fastening to the article to be transported; and part to be pressed which is pressed by a lashing member in a state of being pressed against the securing surface by the lashing member, wherein the first fastening structure unit is fastened to the article to be transported by working with a third fastening structure unit disposed below the article to be transported.
Automotive storage container
A plurality of example automotive storage containers are disclosed. A first example automotive storage container includes at least a movable front panel and a movable top panel, each of the front panel and the top panel connected with and independently movable with respect to the automotive storage container. Each of the front panel and top panel can move into an open and close position independent of the rest of the automotive storage container. A second example automotive storage container includes at least a movable front panel and a movable top panel, the front panel movably connected to a base of the automotive storage container, wherein when the front panel is positioned in an open position, an interior of the automotive storage container is exposed, and wherein the front panel is movable in the open position to slide into a second position under the base of the automotive storage container.
Cargo dunnage device
A system for transporting cargo includes a cargo deck and a dunnage device for securing a load to the cargo deck. The dunnage device includes an elongated tubular body having an interior space. A transverse wall is positioned within the interior space of the tubular body. The elongated tubular body is adapted to be positioned on the cargo deck.
Releasable paperboard chock assembly
A releasable paperboard chock assembly is provided comprising first and second paperboard chocks, each comprising a base, a back wall, and first and second side walls adjacent to the base. Each of the first and second side walls comprises an upper edge surface having a generally curved portion to conform to a curved surface of a roll to be secured. A paperboard sling extends between the first and second chocks comprising first and second ends joined to the first and second chocks, respectively.
Transport Safety System
A transport safety system (400) for use in airports comprising a status monitor (300) for an airside dolly (200) used to improve airport safety. The status monitor (300) comprises a sensor (303) configured to sense a safety variable of the airside dolly and an output (301) in communication with the sensor (303). The output (303) is configured to provide a status signal in dependence on the sensed safety variable of the airside dolly (200).
FIXATION ARRANGEMENT ADAPTED TO RELEASABLY FIX A WIND TURBINE TOWER SEGMENT TO A SUPPORT OF A TRANSPORT VESSEL
Fixation arrangement adapted to releasably fix a wind turbine tower segment (4) to a support (3) of a transport vessel (20), comprising at least two fixation means (2), wherein each fixation means (2) comprises a base member (6) fixed or to be fixed to the support (3), a lever arm (8) connected to the base member (2) and pivotable around a pivot axis (9), and a tensioning means (13) for clamping the lever arm (8) with a clamping section (10) against the tower segment (4), wherein the tensioning means (13) comprises at least one tensioning element (14) supported relative to the base member (6) and movable from a non-clamping position in a clamping position and back, wherein the tensioning element (14) directly or indirectly interacts with the lever arm (8) which is pivoted into a clamping engagement of the clamping section (10) with the tower segment (4) when the tensioning element (14) moves from a non-clamping position into a clamping position and which is released when the tensioning element (14) moves back to the non-clamping position.
Bendable Cargo Securement Device and Method
A compact bendable cargo securement device for stabilizing unrestrained items in the bed or cargo area of a pick-up truck or storage area in a motorhome or recreational trailer is disclosed. It may also be used as a stabilizer doing woodwork and other jobs that require stability of the work platform. The device will conform to any surface and has the ability to wrap around objects—both regular and irregular shaped—and will hold them and keep them from shifting. As disclosed, the bendable cargo securement device is composed of a flexible tube loaded with filler material when used and deployed for securing objects. The flexible tube is preferably fabricated from rubber or any material allowing sufficient flexibility for the cargo securement device to wrap around items while having suitable strength to avoid puncture/destruction from deployment. Each end of the device requires a closure to contain the filler material.
