TWISTLOCK ASSEMBLY
The present invention relates to a twistlock assembly for securing a cargo member to a cargo receiving arrangement. The twistlock assembly comprises a twistlock and a base member. The twistlock is adapted to be at least partially inserted into an opening of a cargo member. The twistlock is adapted to assume each one of an unlocked position and a locked position, wherein the cargo member is prevented from being disconnected from the base member when the twistlock assumes the locked position.
MODULAR BARGE
A modular barge includes a first barge section and a section barge section. The first barge section is buoyant in water, and includes a first locking mechanism. The second barge section is buoyant in water, and includes a second locking mechanism. The second locking mechanism is attached to the second barge and includes a protrusion configured to couple to the first locking mechanism.
Systems and method for securement of a container to a vehicle having a brake system
A system for a vehicle having a brake system comprises a retention device adapted to engage and secure a container to the vehicle responsive to operation of the brake system. A method of a system for a vehicle having a brake system adapted to engage and secure a container to the vehicle responsive to operation of the brake system is also disclosed.
TRAILER ASSEMBLY FOR TRANSPORT OF CONTAINERS OF PROPPANT MATERIAL AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Embodiments of the present disclosure include a trailer assembly for transporting a plurality of proppant containers along a roadway, and associated methods. The trailer assembly includes a skeletal frame having open areas between structural components to enhance weight reduction of the frame, and first, second, third, and connector sections. Additionally, the frame includes a pair of spaced-apart side rails and three or more wheel and axle assemblies to facilitate movement of the trailer assembly. The trailer assembly includes a first pair of outriggers coupled to and arranged transverse the pair of side rails, and a second pair of outriggers arranged proximate the first pair of outriggers. The outriggers have a coupling element positioned at each distal end to engage and secure a proppant container of the plurality of proppant containers to the trailer assembly. Each distal end is positioned to extend outwardly from an axis of the trailer.
CONFIGURABLE TRAILER
A configurable trailer system which includes a chassis supported by one or more axles and any combination of an enclosed trailer, a camper, a livestock trailer, a dump bed and an open-sided trailer. The chassis includes a support surface and, at corners of the support surface, a plurality of locks. Each of the enclosed trailer, camper, livestock trailer, dump bed and open-sided trailer includes a plurality of corner castings configured to selectively and securely couple with the locks. A method for configuring the trailer system includes placing a first one of an enclosed trailer, a camper, a livestock trailer, a dump bed and an open-sided trailer on the chassis and locking to the chassis by engaging the locks with corner castings provided to corners of the first one of the enclosed trailer, camper, livestock trailer, dump bed and open-sided trailer.
Industrial Truck for Transporting Containers on a Support Frame
Disclosed herein concerns an industrial truck for transporting a container on a support frame including a vehicle frame with height-adjustable wheel suspensions and engagement means for fixing a support frame which can be picked up by the industrial truck. Further disclosed herein is a self-supporting support frame suitable to interact with the industrial truck.
Locking System for Securing a Container
A lock for securing a container includes a lock platform, a coupler including a portion that is disposed above the lock platform, an interaction member associated with the coupler, and a linkage mechanism including an actuation device and an actuation surface. The actuation surface is curved or sloped. In addition, movement of the actuation device causes movement of the interaction member along the actuation surface in a first direction such that the coupler automatically secures the container to the lock.
Latching system for automatic securement of a container to a container chassis
A front pin arrangement for automatic securement of a container to a container chassis is provided. The front pin latching arrangement includes first and second latching systems disposed proximate two corners of a container chassis, wherein each of the first and second latching systems automatically secure the container to the container chassis. The front pin latching arrangement also includes an interlock assembly operably coupled to the first and second latching systems. The interlock assembly is configured to provide a fail-safe operation such that the first and second latching systems maintain securement of the container to the container chassis.
LOCKING DEVICE FOR CONTAINERS
A locking device for containers on a vehicle chassis, having a housing, a plug-in pin which is mounted displaceably in the housing and/or a rotary pin which is mounted rotatably in the housing, wherein the plug-in pin and/or the rotary pin can be moved between an open position and a locked position. The invention was based on the problem of providing a locking device for containers which is triggered automatically by way of the loading operation. According to the invention, the problem is solved by the fact that a spring element which interacts with a triggering element acts on the plug-in pin or the rotary pin, wherein the triggering unit has at least one sensing bolt which protrudes out of the housing in the direction of a container fitting in the open position.
VEHICLE FOR CARRYING CONTAINERS
The present disclosure relates to vehicle technology, and more particularly, to a vehicle for carrying a container. The vehicle includes: a vehicle body, at least one locking mechanism provided on the vehicle body and a microcontroller unit communicatively connected to each of the at least one locking mechanism and configured to control each of the at least one locking mechanism to switch between a locked state and an unlocked state. Each of the at least one locking mechanism is connected fixedly to the container when the locking mechanism is in the locked state, such that the container is fixed to the vehicle body. The vehicle is advantageous in that it is capable of locking and unlocking the container in a simple way, thereby improving the efficiency of the vehicle in transportation of the container.
