A light projection method for a moving body which is performed by a processor of the moving body is provided. The method comprises: irradiating light from a light source of the moving body; scanning the light irradiated from the light source with an angle range that is formed by swing a mirror portion of an optical scanner of the moving body; acquiring change information of the angle range at which the mirror portion swings; changing the angle range at which the mirror portion swings based on the acquired change information; and changing an irradiation range of the light irradiated from the light source.

The controller is configured to define the first non-irradiation range based on a case where a vehicle body is in a straight traveling state. When the vehicle body is in a cornering state, the controller is configured to acquire height information of the object in accordance with a tilting state of the vehicle body, define a second non-irradiation range narrower than the first non-irradiation range based on the height information, and adjust the predetermined light distribution pattern so as to include the second non-irradiation range instead of the first non-irradiation range.

Provided are a lamp apparatus of a vehicle and a control method thereof. The lamp apparatus includes: a first integrated lamp installed at either the front or rear of a vehicle and having a plurality of lamps, one or more of which being turned on according to a lighting mode; a second integrated lamp installed at a position different from the installation position of the first integrated lamp and having a plurality of lamps, one or more of which being turned on; a travel direction input unit that receives a travel direction; a driving signal input unit that receives driving signals for turning on and off the lamps; and a lamp control unit that receives the travel direction to set the lighting modes of the first and second integrated lamps, and drives one or more of the plurality of lamps included in each of them.

A headlight device includes an optical unit to emit light and a support mechanism to support the optical unit. The optical unit includes supported pins as a first supported part and supported groove parts as a second supported part. The support mechanism includes support groove parts as a first support part that is provided on a first straight line in a predetermined first direction and contacts the supported pins and support pins as a second support part that is provided on a second straight line in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction and contacts the supported groove parts. The support mechanism supports the optical unit to be freely rotatable around the first straight line passing through the support groove parts and freely rotatable around the second straight line passing through the support pins.

A light distribution control device can perform diffused light distribution control designed to widen an irradiation range of a headlamp of an own vehicle. The light distribution control device is equipped with a recognition unit that recognizes a situation around the own vehicle, and a control unit that performs diffused light distribution control when a curve section in front of the own vehicle in a traveling direction thereof is detected, from a result of recognition by the recognition unit. The control unit controls the headlamp such that a non-required irradiation region where irradiation with light is not required is restrained from being irradiated with light and that a region other than the non-required irradiation region is irradiated with more light, when the non-required irradiation region is detected in the irradiation range of the headlamp in performing diffused light distribution control, from the result of recognition.
