Badge mounting system for a trim assembly
A badge mounting system that helps promote proper installation of different badges for different vehicle trim variants. The system utilizes a set of trim assembly components that include: a badge having a plurality of badge studs protruding rearwardly in a first pattern; a trim layer having a plurality of trim holes corresponding to the plurality of badge studs and arranged in the first pattern; and a backing plate having a backing plate body with an outer perimeter circumscribing a plurality of recesses extending into the backing plate body, wherein the plurality of badge studs mate with a subset of the plurality of recesses that together form the first pattern, and wherein the first pattern of badge studs is arranged such that the badge can be mounted to the backing plate through the trim layer in only a single orientation of the badge relative to the trim layer.
Arrowhead fastener clip with barbs
A system and method including a fastener clip, the fastener clip including one or more pairs of laterally offset legs joined at a head portion. The legs form a clip opening at an opposite end of the head portion. The fastener clip also includes a pair of arms coupled to the head portion, the arms being configured to move substantially independently from the pair of legs. The fastener clip also includes a pair of projections each attached at the ends of each of the arms. The projections are configured to engage an opening of a blade over which the fastener clip is configured to be coupled to the blade at least based upon the fastener clip being placed over the blade.
TETHER CLIP, PILLAR STRUCTURE PROVIDED WITH THE SAME, AND ASSEMBLY METHOD THEREOF
A tether clip includes: a clip body including a panel anchor part and a trim anchor portion, a head anchor part capable of being combined with the trim anchor portion, and a tether connecting the clip body and the head anchor part.
Fastener
A fastener includes a fastening pin and a sleeve component disposed around the fastening pin and movable up and down relative to the fastening pin. The sleeve component includes fixing claws that are able to stretch outward and retract inward. A pin of the fastening pin comprises a small-diameter rod section and an upper large-diameter rod section. When the fixing claws move relative to the pin to abut against an outer surface of the upper large-diameter rod section, the fixing claws stretch outward, and the fastener is in a locked state. When the fixing claws move to the outside of the small-diameter rod section relative to the pin, the fixing claws retract inward, and the fastener is in a release state.
CLAMPER AND HOLDING JIG INCLUDING SAME
A clamper includes: a first clamping member having a first base portion and a first contact portion that is to be in contact with one surface of the workpiece; a second clamping member having a second contact portion that is to be in contact with the other surface of the workpiece; and a clamping member biasing member configured to bias at least one of the first clamping member and the second clamping member in a direction of bringing the first contact portion and the second contact portion closer to each other. The first contact portion has a plurality of plate spring portions extending from the first base portion, the plurality of plate spring portions configured to elastically deform independently from each other to come into contact with the workpiece.
Method and Apparatus for a Magnetic Auto Upholstery Panel
A magnetic auto upholstery panel has an upholstery fabric layer. A foam layer has a first side and a second side. The first side of the foam layer is adhered to the upholstery fabric layer. A magnet (or several) is attached to the second side of the foam layer. The magnetic auto upholstery panel is then placed in the desired position within the vehicle and the magnets attached to exposed metal surfaces. This much faster than prior art methods and therefore saves the customer money, but it also is much easier to correct any mistakes made when installing auto upholstery.
BACK DOOR FOR VEHICLE AND VEHICLE
Disclosed are a back door for a vehicle and a vehicle. The back door for a vehicle includes: a back door trim panel and a rear shielding plate which is provided with a first side edge, a second side edge, a third side edge and a fourth side edge that are sequentially connected; the first side and the third side edge are each connected to the back door trim panel in a non-rotatable manner; and the second side edge is used for being in lap joint with a front shielding plate. The rear shielding plate moves along with the back door when the back door is opened; and when the back door is closed, the rear shielding plate is in lap joint with the front shielding plate, to form a shielding plate of the luggage compartment.
Seamless Integration of Illumination into Interior Trim Panels with Decorative Surface Materials
A decorative cover for a back-illuminated interior trim panel for a vehicle, said cover being a sturdy shell-structure including a transparent plate, forming the back side of the shell-structure, and a decorative component top layer including a trim material layer, which forms the outer surface of the decorative cover, wherein the trim material layer is formed from a trim material which is one from a group of materials consisting of a wood veneer, a metallic layer, a paper, a textile and a fabric, and wherein the laminate is configured to have a predetermined degree of translucency.
Spring clip
A spring clip for coupling a panel to a vehicle structure having at least one mounting member, includes a base portion, with upper and lower surface, configured to couplingly engage with the mounting member, and a body portion, having a central axis extending away from the lower surface of the base portion and having a first planar wall member and a second planar wall member, opposingly spaced apart from the first wall member with regards to the central axis, each one of the planar wall members extending away from the lower surface towards and joiningly converging into a distal end on the central axis. The body portion further includes at least a first pair of opposing retention elements, each one disposed on and extending laterally outwards from a respective one of the planar wall members, configured to fixingly engage when inserted into an orifice of the panel, during use.
Fastener Clip Assembly with Locking Arms
Fastener clip including a tub that may be configured to engage and be secured to a slot in a chassis. The tub comprising at least two wings have a top portion and a bottom portion. The at least two wings are attached to the tub along a top portion of each of the wings on opposite sides of the tub. Bottom portions of the wings engage the chassis, securing the tub to the slot. The tub comprises at least two hooks on opposite sides of the tub and located laterally to the wings. The wings are configured to bend in response to the tub being inserted into a rib. The rib has tabs with outside edges to engage the hooks. Each of the tabs on the rib may be tapered to form tapered tabs. At the end of each tab, a retention notch engages the hook on the tub.
