A wheelset guide for a rail vehicle, which has a bogie frame. Includes at least one longitudinal support, and includes a wheelset bearing for a wheelset of the rail vehicle, wherein the wheelset bearing is connected to the bogie frame and includes a rocker that is pivotably attached to the bogie frame via an elastic rocker bearing, and a pin guided by the rocker bearing, where the bogie frame forms a receptacle for the rocker bearing, which is configured such that the force is introduced into the bogie frame via the rocker hearing itself, and the rocker bearing is positioned in the receptacle in order to improve the strength and stability of the attachment of the rocker to the bogie frame or to the longitudinal support with an open profile.

Railway vehicle and axle box structure thereof

A railway vehicle and an axle box structure thereof are provided. The axle box structure includes an axle box body and a positioning joint mounting seat, and a bearing mounting cavity is provided inside the axle box body. The positioning joint mounting seat is provided with a mounting cavity configured to mount a positioning joint, a longitudinal center line of the axle box body is in parallel with a longitudinal center plane of the positioning joint mounting seat, and the longitudinal center plane of the positioning joint mounting seat is outwardly deviated with respect to a longitudinal center plane of the axle box body. In this way, a large space can be left for mounting the brake clamp, and the mounting and replacing of the brake clamp and the wheel set can be facilitated.

Running gear unit for a rail vehicle

A running gear unit for a rail vehicle, having a running gear frame body. The frame body includes two longitudinal beams and a transverse beam unit providing a structural connection between the longitudinal beams, such that a substantially H-shaped configuration is formed. Each longitudinal beam has a suspension interface section associated to a free end section of the longitudinal beam and forming a primary suspension interface for a primary suspension device. Each longitudinal beam has a pivot interface section associated to the primary suspension interface section and forming a pivot interface for a pivot arm. The primary suspension interface is configured to take a total resultant support force acting in the area of the free end section when the frame body is supported on the associated wheel unit.

The present disclosure generally relates to a rail vehicle that includes a chassis and a rail clamp assembly coupled to the chassis. The rail clamp assembly includes a fixed central member and a pair of lugs each extending outwardly from opposing sides of the fixed central member. The rail clamp assembly further includes a pair of arms respectively coupled to the lugs to thereby provide respective pivot points to permit rotation of the arms about the pivot points. A pair of gripping tool assemblies are disposed at respective lower portions of the arms and are coupled to one another via a guide rod.

TRACTION ROD ASSEMBLY

A traction rod assembly for a bogie system includes a body extending between first and second ends. A bush assembly is coupled with the first end and includes a first component having a passage, and a second component disposed within the passage of the first component. The bush assembly includes an eccentric offset such that a center of the first component is offset from a center of the second component. A bearing assembly is coupled with the second end of the body and includes cylindrical bearings and spacers that are concentric with a passage disposed at the second end of the body. The bush assembly is coupled with a frame of the bogie system and the bearing assembly is operably with an axle assembly of the bogie system. The bearing assembly allows rotation of the body relative to the axle assembly of the bogie system.

A bogie is capable of being moved from a rest configuration to an active configuration in which the bogie carries at least one vertical load. The bogie includes a chassis, at least one pair of wheels, and a shaft extending along an axle axis for each pair of wheels. Each wheel has a wheel hub extending along a hub axis and an axle box attached to the chassis and receiving the associated hub. Each hub is rotatable relative to the associated axle box. For each hub, the hub axis forms a non-zero camber angle with the axle axis of the associated shaft when the bogie is in the rest configuration.
