A tray-type component supply device includes an exchanging table configured to lift and lowered between an upper position and a lower position, a conveyance section configured to receive a tray from the exchanging table and convey the tray, and a control section configured to receive a detection signal from the detection sensor and cause the driving section to operate the exchanging table, the control section including an abnormality detecting section configured to detect an abnormal state in which a height position of the exchanging table becomes unidentified, a retraction operating section configured to cause the exchanging table to move to the retraction position at a low speed when the abnormal state is detected, and a calibration and restoration section configured to calibrate the height position of the exchanging table to restore a normal state.

STACKING DEVICE FOR MICROTITER PLATES

A device for receiving, stacking, and removing microplates is presented and described. The device comprises a tower for stacking the microplates, wherein a microplate comprises a container and, optionally, a lid. There is a retaining device at the lower end of the tower, which has a first retaining tool and a second retaining tool, and preferably partially encompasses a microplate. The first retaining tool is designed to hold a microplate in a form-fitting manner. The second retaining tool is designed to fix a container in the microplate in place in a frictional manner. The first retaining tool is above the second retaining tool in the stacking direction. A system that comprises the device described above, a dispenser device, and a transport device, is also disclosed. The dispenser device is used to fill microplates, and the transport device is used to add and remove microplates to and from the device.

Nesting Cuttings Box System
20220315359 · 2022-10-06 ·

The disclosure relates to a storage device system configured to carry cuttings from an offshore oil drilling rig to a vessel and then to shore for disposal. The system includes a set of nested boxes and lids designed to contain solids as well as some hydrocarbons. The ability to nest the boxes and lids leads to considerable reduction in space requirements relative to conventional systems. For example, according to an embodiment, each box is configured to only take up an additional 12″ in height for each nested box. As such, five nested boxes and lids only occupy a height equivalent to two stacked conventional boxes. Each box and lid is configured to serve as a closed container having hatches for filling the container with cuttings. The container is configured to withstanding pressures up to 5 psi while preventing fumes from escaping. Embodiments may have greater or fewer than five boxes.

Systems, methods, and machine-executable coded instruction sets are disclosed for fully- and/or partly automated handling of goods. For example, the disclosure provides improvements in storage and retrieval of containers in systems such as order processing systems.

BAKERY TRAY STACKER
20170233199 · 2017-08-17 ·

A stacker includes a base and a vertical structure supported by the base. A lift unit includes a support surface for engaging and lifting a tray from a stack of trays. The lift unit is mounted to the vertical structure and movable vertically relative to the vertical structure. A lifting mechanism selectively raises and lowers the lift unit relative to the vertical structure. The support surface may be formed on first and second projections configured to engage first and second handle openings of a tray. The stacker facilitates several stacking/destacking methods for more easily converting a stack of trays at a first height to a stack of trays at a second height. For example, the first height may be more convenient or appropriate for use in a bakery, while the second height may be more efficient for loading in a truck.

PALLET DISPENSER AND METHOD THEREOF
