An alloy material is provided that has a chemical composition consisting of, in mass %, C: 0.030% or less, Si: 0.01 to 1.0%, Mn: 0.01 to 2.0%, P: 0.030% or less, S: 0.0050% or less, Cr: 28.0 to 40.0%, Ni: 32.0 to 55.0%, sol. Al: 0.010 to 0.30%, N: more than 0.30% and not more than 0.000214×Ni.sup.2−0.03012×Ni+0.00215×Cr.sup.2−0.08567×Cr+1.927, O: 0.010% or less, Mo: 0 to 6.0%, W: 0 to 12.0%, Ca: 0 to 0.010%, Mg: 0 to 0.010%, V: 0 to 0.50%, Ti: 0 to 0.50%, Nb: 0 to 0.50%, Co: 0 to 2.0%, Cu: 0 to 2.0%, REM: 0 to 0.10%, and the balance: Fe and impurities, and in which Fn1=Mo+(½)W is 1.0 to 6.0, and a yield strength at a 0.2% proof stress is 1103 MPa or more.
Nickel-based refractory alloy with high chromium content and associated design method
An austenitic alloy based on nickel and having a high chromium content, intended to be used at a given operating temperature between 900° C. and 1150° C., comprises the following elements by mass percentage: chromium between 40% and 45%; iron between 10% and 14%; carbon between 0.4% and 0.6%; titanium between 0.05% and 0.2%; niobium between 0.5% and 1.5%; at least one reactive element, selected from rare earths or hafnium, between 0.002% and 0.1%; silicon between 0% and 1%; manganese between 0% and 0.5%; nickel to balance the alloy elements. In addition, the alloy has a molar fraction of more than 0.1% of secondary carbo-nitrides rich in niobium and/or titanium, after the operating temperature has been applied thereto. The disclosure also relates to a method for designing such an alloy and to a method for validating such an alloy.
TWO-PHASE ALLOY, PRODUCT USING SAID TWO-PHASE ALLOY, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAID PRODUCT
An object of the invention is to provide: a two-phase alloy as a metal material that can be preferably utilized under circumstances of a temperature range and a high corrosion as in an oil well, the two-phase alloy having a high corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties that are equivalent or more than those of conventional ones, and saving a cost; a product of the two-phase alloy; and a method for producing the product. There is provided a two-phase alloy containing Cr as a major component and including two phases of an austenite phase and a ferrite phase in a mixed state. The alloy has a chemical composition containing: 34-70 mass % of Cr; 17-45 mass % of Ni; 10-35 mass % of Fe; 0.1-2 mass % of Mn; 0.1-1 mass % of Si; and impurities. The total content of the Ni and the Fe is 30-65 mass %.
NICKEL-CHROMIUM ALLOY AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A nickel and chromium alloy having a combined wt. % of nickel and chromium of at least 97 wt. %, wherein the chromium accounts for 33 to 50 wt. % of the alloy. The alloy may be provided in strip form and has adequate ductility for the manufacture of various products, such as sheaths for flux cored welding electrodes. A method of making the alloy strip includes forming a powder charge that is 97 to 100 wt. % of nickel and chromium combined and the chromium accounts for 33 to 50 wt. % of the charge, roll compacting the powder charge to form a green strip, sintering the green strip to form a sintered strip, and cold rolling and annealing the sintered strip to form the alloy strip.

The present invention relates to an Ni-based alloy which is excellent in terms of wear resistance and high-temperature corrosion resistance and which includes 0.3≤C≤1.0 mass %, 36.0≤Cr≤50.0 mass %, and 3.0≤Al≤7.0 mass %, with the balance being Ni and unavoidable impurities, and relates to an Ni-based alloy product made of the Ni-based alloy according to the present invention, and methods for producing the Ni-based alloy product.

ODS ALLOY POWDER, METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME BY MEANS OF PLASMA TREATMENT, AND USE THEREOF
A method for producing a powder of a reinforced alloy (ODS alloy) in which the grains forming the particles of the powder comprise a metal matrix, in the volume of which crystalline oxide particles are dispersed, said method comprising the following successive steps: i) providing a powder mixture to be milled comprising a master alloy intended to form the metal matrix and an additional powder comprising at least one intermediate intended to incorporate atoms intended to form the dispersed oxide particles; ii) milling the powder mixture according to a mechanical synthesis process for making a precursor powder; iii) subjecting the precursor powder to a thermal plasma generated by a plasma torch comprising a plasma gas, in order to obtain the reinforced alloy powder.
The method of the invention is particularly suitable for producing an ODS alloy that has optimized characteristics of composition and/or microstructure.
The invention also relates to the ODS alloy powder obtained by the method of production, and the use thereof.
