The foamable layer has a thickness of 0.05 to 0.3 mm.
WALLPAPER AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING WALLPAPER
A reusable wallpaper and method for producing reusable wallpaper for removable attachment to a wall or ceiling surface with wallpaper paste. The wallpaper includes only a flat base layer without a paste coating applied by the manufacturer. The flat base layer is in the form of a textile, in particular synthetic fibers.
Multi-layered sheet suitable as floor or wall covering exhibiting a three-dimensional relief and a decorative image
The present invention relates to a multi-layered sheet suitable as floor or wall covering exhibiting a three-dimensional surface relief and a decorative image, comprising: i. a support layer having an upper surface and a lower surface; ii. a foamed layer having an upper surface and a lower surface, the lower surface of the foamed layer provided adjacent, and adherent to the upper surface of the support layer, the upper surface of the foamed layer comprising a discontinuous chemically embossed relief pattern, wherein the discontinuous chemically embossed relief pattern comprises indentations formed by single or stacked dots of a digitally printed material comprising a foam inhibiting agent; and optionally iii. a decorative layer adhered to the upper surface of the foamed layer; and optionally iv. at least one wear resistant layer provided adjacent and adhered to the decorative layer; and optionally v. a backing layer provided adjacent and adhered to the lower surface of the support layer.
Closed porous composite material, thermal insulation material, sound insulation material, and manufacturing method thereof
A method for manufacturing a closed porous composite material includes 1) preparing a mixture that has 30 to 70 parts by weight of water-dispersed resin, 10 to 300 parts by weight of unexpanded thermal expansion microspheres, and 100 to 550 parts by weight of water, and stirring the mixture thoroughly; 2) preparing a carrier; 3) coating the carrier with the mixture acquired in step 1; 4) heating the carrier so that the unexpanded thermal expansion microspheres expand; and 5) repeating steps 3 and 4 multiple times to acquire a closed porous composite material. The closed porous composite material has a large number of closed cavities and polymer walls separating the closed cavities. The closed cavity is 20 μm to 800 μm in size. The ratio of a total volume of the closed cavities to a total volume of the polymer walls is greater than 16.
FORMULATION FOR A FIBROUS NON-WOVEN FACING MATERIAL
The present invention provides a formulation for a fibrous non-woven facing material, wherein the formulation comprises a binder, a filler, and an extender. The extender has an median particle size, d.sub.50, which is equal to or less than 3.5 μm, and a non-spherical morphology. The filler has an median particle size, d.sub.50, which is equal to or less than 3.0 μm and wherein the filler has a d.sub.10 equal to or less than 1.0 μm and a d.sub.90 equal to or less than 6.0 μm. The formulation comprises less than 13 wt % titanium dioxide on a dry solids basis. Also provided is a fibrous non-woven facing material comprising the formulation, a process for preparing the fibrous non-woven facing material and a fibrous non-woven facing material obtained by said process.
DECORATIVE COVERING FOR WALLS OF HUMID ENVIRONMENTS AND/OR SUBJECT TO WATER JETS AND PROCESS OF APPLICATION THEREOF
The present invention relates to a decorative sheath for walls of humid environments and/or subject to water jets, of the type that comprises in succession: —a reinforcing material layer (2) to be applied on the surface of the wall (1) of a humid environment; —a waterproofing glue layer (3); —a decorated fibreglass fabric layer (4), having the decorative appearance to be conferred to said wall (1); —a protective finishing layer (5) for said fibreglass fabric layer (4). Said sheath provides that a sealant layer (6) to be applied only on the junction points of the sheath is provided.
PROCESS FOR THE ELABORATION OF A FORMULATION BASED ON POLYURETHANE AND THE MUCILAGE OF OPUNTIA FICUS-INDICA WITH APPLICATIONS IN THE MANUFACTURING OF SYNTHETIC SKIN-LIKE FLEXIBLE COATINGS
The present invention refers to a process for the elaboration of a formulation based on polyurethane and mucilage of Opuntia ficus-indica with applications in the manufacturing of synthetic skin-like flexible coatings, in combination with textile substrates such as polyester, cotton, polyester and cotton10 or, with polymers such as PVC, polyurethane, among others, independently of whether it is water-based or oil-based, so that the warp of the substrate allows the generation of rolls of the coating for multiple uses and applications such as tapestry, book cover or as a substitute for coating covers for different objects that require a coating providing an external protection; this formulation has multiple applications since it has the advantage of being biodegradable and it lowers the use of contaminating plastics that contaminate the environment
GRAVITY-DRIVEN CHITOSAN-ENHANCED MELAMINE SPONGE FOR STABLE ULTRAFAST FILTRATION
Devices and methods related to a chitosan-enhanced melamine sponge are provided.
