Apparatus for screeding concrete
An apparatus for screeding concrete to produce a level finished surface includes a frame assembly having an integral screed head having at least one member for contacting said concrete, a leveling assembly secured to the frame assembly having a plurality of vertically adjustable leveling legs capable of extension and retraction and a plurality of wheels secured to the leveling legs, each capable of rotation around a vertical axis for steering.
High-production truss-mounted screed assembly
A screed assembly includes an auger, a cylinder, and a vibratory screed. The screed assembly may be included in an undercarriage. The undercarriage may be coupled to a carriage. The carriage may travel along a length of a framework. One or more sensors may be used to determine height information of the screed assembly relative to a surface to be paved. One or more actuators may be used to selectively adjust the height of the screed assembly based on the height information.
SWING BOOM CONCRETE SCREEDING APPARATUS
An apparatus for screeding concrete to produce a level finished surface includes a frame assembly having a front end and rear ends and a pair of spaced vertically oriented stabilization legs supporting a generally horizontal front member. An extendable boom assembly is provided having front and rear ends, and an exterior boom section pivotably secured to the frame assembly proximate said rear end. The extendable boom assembly is also adjustably mounted on said front member to allow generally lateral motion of the boom.
Flotation machine having pan support structure configured for conforming the shape of a float pan
A support structure for a float pan for floating a concrete surface provides an interface between the float pan and a rotating machine. The support structure is characterized by a hub configured for concentric attachment to a rotor, and by trusses that extend radially from the hub, each providing a float pan contact surface and means for attachment to the float pan. Perimetric bracing links the trusses about the perimeter of the support structure. A machine similar to a walk-behind or ride-on trowel but without rotor blades, may incorporate the support structure and operate as a dedicated power flotation machine. Under weight of the machine, the contact surfaces of the trusses conform the float pan to a desired shape or radius of curvature for optimizing a flotation process.
Paver having elevation profile monitoring equipment and methods for operation thereof
A paver, in particular a slipform paver, has a machine frame supported by front and rear undercarriages and a paving device for the paving of material. The paver is provided with an apron monitoring device for generating elevation profile data or elevation profile signals describing the elevation profile of the material deposited in the apron of the paving device in a direction transverse to the working direction. A data or signal processing device receives the elevation profile data or signals. The apron monitoring device provides the data needed to allow the material to be spread more evenly across the working width of the paver during the feeding operation by means of a spreading device for spreading the material to be paved in a direction transverse to the working direction and/or to allow the spreading device to be controlled for improved spreading of the material after the paver has been fed.
Screed accessory for levelling uncured concrete surfaces
An accessory for levelling uncured concrete surfaces. The accessory includes a screed head with two height adjusting levelling cylinders (1), a slope cylinder (2), a coupling component (3), a blade (4), an auger (5), a roller (6), a vibrator (7) and a sprinkler system (8). The coupling component (3) includes a hand operated hinged latch with a hook able to be snapped in place in a single movement so as to pinch together the coupling component and a telescopic boom of a general-purpose vehicle. The slope cylinder (2) enables the screed head to be maintained continuously at ninety degrees to the horizontal.
ROAD CONSTRUCTION MACHINE OF THE ROAD PAVER OR FEEDER TYPE
The invention relates to a road paver or a feeder having a chassis driven by a drive unit, and a material hopper arranged in the working direction at the front of the road paver or the feeder, the material hopper having a hopper side wall extending in the working direction and a discharge flap tiltable about a pivot axis extending transversely to the working direction, the discharge flap comprising a flap base and a flap side wall which extends next to the hopper side wall and is fixed to the flap base and supported to be moveable relative to the hopper side wall, a protective cover, which at least partially engages around the edge of the flap side wall, being arranged on the hopper side wall.
Drive System for Screeding Concrete
An apparatus for steering and driving a concrete screed having a frame and a screed head secured thereto includes a plurality of spaced drive wheels rotatably and pivotably secured to the frame at a plurality of points, and a steering member coupled to one or more of the drive wheels for controlling the directional orientation thereof.
The support structure is characterized by a hub configured for concentric attachment to a rotor, and by a plurality of trusses that extend radially from the hub, each providing a planar contact surface. A mounting plate attaches between each planar contact surface and a top surface of the float pan and is radially adjustable along the planar contact surface. A truss beam structure cross-links the trusses together. A. walk-behind or ride-on machine may incorporate the support structure and operate as a dedicated power flotation machine. Under weight of the machine, the planar contact surfaces of the trusses conform the float pan to a desired shape or radius of curvature for optimizing a flotation process.
