The second end is proximate to the second side of the offset box housing. The rotating shaft including a first sprocket coupled to the rotating shaft. The offset chain guide member guides a chain between the first sprocket and a second sprocket that is coupled to both the offset chain guide member and a trenching mechanism that is disposed offset with respect to a trencher.
DRIVE POD SYSTEM FOR AN EXCAVATOR
A drive pod system for an excavator includes a first drive pod, a second drive pod, and a central gearbox. The first drive pod includes a first drive mechanism and a first drive pod frame, the first drive mechanism coupled to the first drive pod frame. The second drive pod includes a second drive mechanism and a second drive pod frame, the second drive mechanism coupled to the second drive pod frame. The central gearbox receives power produced by the first drive mechanism and the second drive mechanism and transfers the power to a ground manipulator apparatus of the excavator. The first and second drive pod frames are coupled to an excavator frame of the excavator.
TRENCHER WITH A DETACHABLE DIGGING BOX
A trencher includes a drive mechanism, a detachable digging box, and a digging support member. The detachable digging box receives power from an intermediate drive member transferring power from the drive mechanism to a trenching chain coupled to the detachable digging box. The drive mechanism and the detachable digging box are coupled to the intermediate drive member. The digging box support member includes a first end and a second end. The digging box support member is pivotably coupled to the detachable digging box at the first end of the digging box support member via a detachable coupler and pivotably coupled to a frame of the trencher at the second end of the digging box support member. The detachable digging box is detachable from the digging box support member via the detachable coupler without decoupling the intermediate drive member from the trencher.
Foundation With Chain Blades During Construction and Its Construction Method
Disclosed are a foundation having a chain cutter at the base during construction and a construction method of the same. A rock and soil conveying apparatus is provided inside or beside a foundation (1) having a chain cutter (3) at the base during construction, the base of the foundation (1) has a track (1-1), the chain cutter (3) is mounted on the track (1-1) during construction, and the chain cutter (3) is composed of a chain (3-1) and a rock and soil excavating cutter (3-2) fixed on the chain (3-1). A chain excavating apparatus mainly consists of the chain cutter (3) and a transmission apparatus, the transmission apparatus mainly being composed of a driving apparatus (4) and a sprocket (6). During construction, the driving apparatus (4) drives the chain cutter (3), the chain cutter (3) runs along the track (1-1), the cutter (3-2) at the base of the foundation (1) excavates rock and soil, which are removed by the rock and soil conveying apparatus, and the chain cutter (3) at the base of the foundation (1) and the foundation (1) descend together. The defects of the prior art are overcome, and since the foundation (1) itself has an excavating apparatus, the foundation (1) can be pre-formed in blocks at the factory, or can be constructed by pouring while descending in on-site fixed formwork, construction is simple, in particular waterproofing is especially good as descending is done as a whole, the construction period is short, and costs are low.
Boom assembly for a trencher
A boom assembly for a trencher having a boom frame member, a boom drive assembly and a plurality of boom arm assemblies. The boom frame member configured to be attachable to the trencher. The boom drive assembly attached to the boom frame member, having an output shaft that is rotatably actuatable. The plurality of boom arm assemblies extending from the boom frame member, the plurality of boom arm assemblies including at least a first boom arm assembly and a second boom arm assembly. The first and second boom arm assemblies can be of differing length, width, angle and may operate at different speeds.
PORTABLE TRENCHING DEVICE
A trenching device rotating a trenching chain through a substrate to form a trench. The trenching device including a power unit, a drive unit including a belt drive system, and a trenching unit including a trenching chain and configured to rotate the trenching chain about a trenching bar.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR OPERATING EXCAVATION MACHINES
An excavation machine is provided. The excavation machine includes an excavation device and an excavation device drive system that powers the excavation device to move cutting tools, wherein the excavation device drive system includes an electric motor and a motor controller, wherein the motor controller is programmed to control the speed of the excavation device drive system. The motor controller sets the speed of the excavation device drive system at a predetermined excavation speed based on a predetermined target power, the predetermined target power being associated with a target torque generated by the electric motor. The speed of the excavation device drive system is set at a predetermined first excavation speed when a power transmitted to the electric motor is below the predetermined target power and at a predetermined second excavation speed to maintain the power transmitted to the electric motor at the predetermined target power.
