Hydraulic cylinder, for example for use with a hydraulic tool

The invention relates to a hydraulic cylinder, for example for use with a hydraulic tool, which hydraulic tool is provided with a frame and an element which is movable with respect to the frame by means of the hydraulic cylinder. A hydraulic tool which is operated by means of a hydraulic cylinder as described above is known from, for example, European patent no. 0641618. This patent discloses a frame which is coupleable to a jib of an excavator or the like and to which an assembly of two jaws can be coupled. One of the jaws is pivotable with respect to the other jaw by means of a hydraulic adjusting cylinder (a double-acting piston/cylinder combination).

System for remapping a control signal for excavator arm movement to a rotatory degree of freedom of a tool

A system for controlling movement of multiple links of an excavator can move a tool at the end of an excavator arm. The system includes a sensor data interface configured to receive sensor data for determining relative orientations of the multiple links with respect to each other, and a surface setting unit configured to access design data defining a reference surface. The system has a remapping unit configured to remap a user command for moving two links with respect to each other about a corresponding joint to a rotatory tool degree of freedom. The system then coordinates output signals, such that as a function of the remapped user command the tool is rotated within the associated rotatory tool degree of freedom, without the need that an operator coordinates underlying joint movements.

GUIDANCE SYSTEM

To allow a worker to visually recognize information for assisting transportation of a transport object and the transport object at the same time. A guidance system includes a guidance device and a controller. The guidance device has a display portion. The controller stores information of a target position of a transport object. The controller calculates a detected position which is a current position of the transport object based on a detection result of a detection portion, and further calculates a position deviation which is a deviation of the detected position from a target position. The display portion displays information of the position deviation.

ARRANGEMENT FOR TILTING OR TURNING A WORKING INSTRUMENT

The disclosed embodiments relates an arrangement for tilting or turning a tool, the arrangement including at least one actuator for tilting and turning the tool, the actuator including at least a frame part adapted to be closed by a cover, the frame part and the cover enclosing a chamber portion (8) where a blade part having one or more blade gaskets is provided to divide the chamber portion into separate chamber spaces, the blade part being connected, at its first end, to a shaft, the second end of the blade part being adapted move reciprocally in the chamber portion, rotating the shaft at the same time. The joint between the frame part and the cover is sealed by a gasket contacting the blade gaskets.

A work machine is capable of rotating an attachment while appropriately supporting a load applied to the attachment. The work machine has a hydraulic cylinder attached to a body side surface of an arm and a first link rod extending along a back side surface of the arm. A second link rod is rotatably supported via a first pin extending in the width direction of a front working device, and has one end projecting toward the back side surface of the arm and the other end projecting toward the body side surface thereof. One end of the first link rod is rotatably connected to the attachment. One end of the second link rod is rotatably connected to the other end of the first link rod, and the other end thereof is rotatably connected to a distal end of a cylinder rod of the hydraulic cylinder via a third pin.

ROTARY DITCHING ATTACHMENT FOR A TOOL MANIPULATING ARM

A rotary ditching attachment for an articulated boom of an excavator type machine includes two rotary excavating heads supported in spaced relation on opposite sides of a central support. The heads rotate about a common axis. The rotary ditching attachment is rotatably coupled to the boom by a rotating tool mount. The rotating tool mount is connectable to the central support such that the central support and attached excavating heads are rotatable about an axis extending through the central support and perpendicular to the common axis of the excavator heads. Excavating assemblies are mounted on outwardly facing and inwardly facing surfaces of rotors forming each excavating heads. Rotating the rotary ditching attachment relative to a direction of movement of the rotary ditching tool relative to the ground increases the width of cut of the excavating heads when used to form or rehabilitate a ditch.
