METHOD AND DEVICE IN A FLOOR STRUCTURE DRYING PROCESS
A method and device for holding a subsurface layer of an elevated flooring portion of a floor structure at a distance from a subfloor in a vicinity of an opening in the flooring portion during a process of drying the floor structure. According to the invention there is provided at least one rod having a substantially perpendicularly angled end. The rod is inserted below the subsurface layer through the opening and the angled end of the rod is attached to an edge of a surface layer in the opening of the flooring portion in a manner that the rod supports the subsurface layer at said distance from the subfloor when the flooring portion is elevated.
METHOD AND ARRANGEMENT FOR DRYING A WATER DAMAGED FLOOR STRUCTURE
A method and arrangement for drying a water damaged floor structure having a ventilated isolating layer below a concrete layer extending throughout an enclosed space, and the enclosed space having a tiled flooring over the concrete layer. An outlet opening is provided into the floor structure and to the isolating layer outside of an end of the enclosed space, the tiled flooring is heated by a heating source, and ambient air drawn by a suction source through the isolating layer and out of the outlet opening.
Drying devices
A drying device for a wall structure includes an inflatable drying mat (1) of lightweight plastic sheeting and a floor engaging portion (2), a wall engaging portion (3), an outwardly facing portion (4) that extends between an outer edge portion (5) of the floor engaging portion (2) and an upper edge portion (6) of the wall engaging portion (3) to define a triangular cross-section when in use and connected to an air mover. In use of the drying device, a deflated mat (1) is laid on a floor and against a wall structure to be dried. The air mover is then powered up whereupon the mat (1) is deployed automatically against the wall to a height in excess of one meter without any outside assistance.
APPARATUS FOR DRYING A WATER DAMAGED FLOOR STRUCTURE
A drying apparatus for a water damaged floor structure having an intermediate layer between a surface layer and a subfloor, which drying device comprises a suction blower for, from an outlet opening in the floor structure, drawing humidified process air from the intermediate layer and heating the humidified air, and a sorption dehumidifier to receive the heated process air from the suction blower, convert it to heated dry air and, through an inlet opening in the floor structure, separate from the outlet port, force the heated dry air to the intermediate layer, where the heated dry air accumulates moisture from the floor structure and is converted to new process air which is again sucked up and heated by the suction blower in a closed process. According to the invention, the dryer has a PTC element for a sorbent block in the dehumidifier, a common housing for the suction fan and dehumidifiers, and a sound and heat insulation in the housing.
SYSTEM FOR TREATING AIR IN BUILDING INTERIORS, AND VENTILATOR DEVICE
A system for treating air in a building interior. The system includes a ventilator module with a housing, a flow channel, a drive motor, and an impeller. The housing has upper face with at least one opening, an oppositely arranged lower face with a housing base which is designed as a stand surface for positioning the ventilator module, a housing wall extending between the upper face and the lower face, and a lateral outlet opening arranged on the housing wall in a region which is adjacent to the lower face. The flow channel is formed in the housing between the one upper face and the lower face. The drive motor is arranged in the housing. The at least one impeller rotates about a rotational axis and is driven by the drive motor to convey an air flow between the upper face and the lower face.
METHOD AND ARRANGEMENT IN A FLOOR STRUCTURE DRYING PROCESS
A method and arrangement for drying a water damaged sandwiched floor structure including a top concrete layer, an air permeable isolating layer and a concrete subfloor, comprising providing an air inlet opening and an air outlet opening through the concrete layer, and continuously in a closed loop flowing air through the isolating layer via the openings by a blower and a dehumidifier in serial connection. According to the invention the blower is a suction blower, whereby air is drawn from the outlet opening by the suction blower, and dry air is forced into the inlet opening by the dehumidifier.
APPARATUS FOR DRYING A WATER DAMAGED FLOOR STRUCTURE
A drying apparatus for a water damaged floor structure, comprising a suction blower for drawing wet process air from the floor structure, a sorption dehumidifier for receiving the process air from the suction blower and converting it to dry air, a common cover for the suction blower and the dehumidifier, and a PTC element for a sorption block in the dehumidifier. According to the invention, the suction blower is a side channel blower capable of heating the process air, and an additional blower is arranged between the suction blower and the sorption dehumidifier to increase the flow of the heated process air from the suction blower. In addition, the housing has a sound and heat insulation.
Blow-dry enclosure
A blow-dry enclosure has an inflatable bag made of rugged material, with on the front an opening to receive air from an air mover, and a vent or a vent carrier that can receive a vent. The inflatable bag may be in the shape of a block. The material may be coated with an impermeable layer, and it may be lightweight and machine-washable. The blow-dry enclosure may have two or more inflatable towers on the top, and an opening on the back to receive air. The vent may be removable, replaceable, and adjustable. The blow-dry enclosure may have a hose on the front opening to connect it to the air mover. It may further have connector flaps to connect it to other blow-dry enclosures, straps to allow it to curve forward or backward, or shorten it, and/or anchor tabs to tie it to the ground.
Device and system for gas injection in and extraction from a building structure
The present disclosure relates to a device and a system for gas injection in cavities of building structures, particularly for drying, decontaminating or drying and decontaminating building structures. The present disclosure also relates to a device and a system for gas extraction from cavities of building structures, particularly for drying, or for drying and decontaminating building structures. The present disclosure also generally relates to a system for monitoring parameters of a gas injection/extraction process using the device and system provided herein.
