Mass Timber Hanger
A structural hanger providing a means for connecting a horizontal or sloped mass timber panel to a wall with sheathing without impairing the fire resistance rating of the wall. One embodiment comprises a plurality of legs, including a first leg with a means for connecting the hanger to a mass timber panel, a second leg with a means for connecting the hanger to structural members within the wall, and a third leg connecting the first and second leg to each other and extending through the sheathing mounted to the wall.
Engineered beam with adjustable angle connection
A system for providing an angled construction or bent beam construction. Such system may include a first beam comprising a first elongated beam segment having a first interlocking joint portion at one end, and a second beam comprising a second elongated beam segment having a second interlocking joint at one end, wherein the first interlocking joint portion is configured to rotatably couple to the second interlocking joint to form a rotatable joint such that the angle between the first beam and the second beam is adjustable.

The present invention relates to a prefabricated construction system and method, for erecting constructions by means of the assembly of prefabricated structural elements obtained by cutting flat materials, forming structural nodes by means of coupling at least a first coupling configuration formed by first slots made in a plurality of parallel boards forming a first structural element with at least a second coupling configuration formed by second slots made in a plurality of parallel boards forming a second structural element, providing a structural core in the form of an array having interstitial openings going through it which allow the coupling of third and fourth coupling configurations of third and fourth structural elements.
ENGINEERED WOOD STRUCTURAL SYSTEM
An engineered wood structural system including multiple vertical structural elements including first seats comprised between parallel vertical struts made of successive aligned vertical strut segments connected to each other, multiple horizontal structural elements, supported on the first seats, each including an upper horizontal board and a lower horizontal board with at least one second spacer placed in between, and optionally slab members supported on the horizontal structural elements defining at least one structure floor.
Thermal break wood columns, buttresses and headers with rigid insulation
A thermal break wood and rigid insulation wall support column, buttress or header is comprised of spaced apart multiple parallel and right angled wood panels. The right angled wood panels are secured together by box joints. Non-metallic angled mechanical fasteners hold the lumber panels together in a truss angled arrangement maintaining the panels spaced relationship. A thermal break section of rigid foam insulation is injected between the lumber panels and around the mechanical fasteners.
WALL ROOF TRUSS BUILDING SYSTEM
A frame truss made of two walls and a roof structure. Each of the two walls have an outer and inner chord. The outer and inner chords of each respective wall are not parallel, but the inner chords of the two walls are parallel to each other. The arrangement of the inner and outer chords of each wall creates an exterior overhang with respect to the ground. Each of the walls converge at their bases and are attached at their bases to a plate. The roof structure attaches to the top of each of the walls and spans between them creating a frame that can be assembled in conjunction with similar frames to construct a building system.

A building framework is disclosed herein having a first structural member, a second structural member, and a third structural member disposed between the first and second structural members, a first web member connecting the first and third structural members in a spaced apart relationship, and a second web member connecting the second and third structural members in a spaced apart relationship. The first web member is positioned relative to the second web member such that the shortest distance between the first web member and second web member is greater than or equal to 5 times the thickness of the third structural member. The fastening and alignment member includes a projecting member and a protruding member in close proximity to a predetermined location for the fastener.
Seismic reinforcement strucutre and seismic retrofitting method
Disclosed is a seismic reinforcement structure and a seismic retrofitting method, including: a first bracket including a horizontal part extending in contact with the bottom surface of the building, and a vertical part formed in connection with the horizontal part and extending in contact with the wall surface of the building; a second bracket including a horizontal part extending in contact with the ceiling of the building, and a vertical part formed in connection with the horizontal part and extending in contact with the wall surface of the building; and a connecting support rod having a vertically long shape and vertically connecting the horizontal part of the first bracket and the second bracket, wherein the relative position to the bottom of the whole building is fixed, thereby preventing the building from collapsing.
