LOCKSET FOR INTERIOR SLIDING DOOR
A door lockset for a sliding door includes a latch assembly, a plunger, a plunger retention assembly, and a secondary unlocking feature. The latch assembly has a first end and a second end. The plunger is positioned at least partially within the latch assembly. The plunger is movable between an extended position and a retracted position relative to the second end of the latch assembly. The plunger retention assembly has a first end having a recess, a second end opposing the first end, and an actuation member positioned at least partially within the plunger retention assembly. The plunger is configured to engage the recess in the extended position.

Latch assembly including latch module with retractable latch bolt for storage compartment in automotive vehicle
A latch assembly for a storage compartment in an automobile is disclosed. The latch assembly includes a latch module, including a latch bolt, and a striker. The latch bolt is moveable between an extended latched position, in which the bolt axis is coaxial with a longitudinal axis of the latch casing, and a retracted unlatched position, in which the bolt is withdrawn into, and its axis is oblique with respect to, the latch casing. When in the oblique position, the latch bolt is retained in the unlatched position within the latch casing. A spring member within the latch casing biases the latch bolt to both extend axially from the latch casing, and pivotally toward the inner retaining surface of the latch casing. Upon closure, the bolt is moved, via contact with the striker, from the withdrawn oblique retained position, and returns via spring bias to the latched extended position.
Attack, ballistic and blast resistant self-locking door
An attack, ballistic and blast resistant door that includes integral concealed mortised four bolt-strike locking assemblies where the bolts are retracted with one hand operation for opening the door and are automatically extended for locking the door with closure of the door. The door has a door frame with four adjustable concealed striker receivers within the door frame. The door has four interconnected concealed mortised bolt lock assemblies, each with a biased bolt, wherein one of the bolt lock assemblies has an engageable brake to hold all four interconnected biased bolts in retraction when the door is opened after a handle interconnected with the four biased blots is moved to a door open position. A roller assembly is provided in the one bolt lock assembly biased to extend and move out from the door when the door is opened and releases the brake and allows the biased bolts to extend and move into the strike receivers when the extended roller assembly is moved inwardly toward the door. A manually adjustable ramp is on a strike plate cover over the strike receiver opposite of the one bolt lock assembly with the engageable brake. The ramp adjustably engages the roller assembly to further move away from or toward the door to adjustably release the brake.

Bolt Restraint
A bolt restraint mechanism for restraining a bolt of a bolting mechanism. The bolt restraint mechanism includes a bolt moveable between thrown and retracted positions and a catch plate having an aperture through which the bolt extends. The catch plate is biased to pivot such that a restraint surface of the aperture pushes against the bolt to restrain movement of the bolt. A release trigger is arranged such that when depressed the release trigger pushes against the catch plate to pivot thereby releasing the restraint surface from pushing against the bolt to release the bolt. The catch plate may be biased such that when the restraint surface pushes against the bolt to restrain movement of the bolt, the catch plate is non-orthogonal to the bolt.

Automatically-extendible deadbolt latch assembly
A latch assembly for a door includes automatically deployable deadbolt. When the door is closed and the latch engages a strike plate, the deadbolt automatically extends into a corresponding opening in a door jamb to secure the door.
