A fuel supply device has a base body, in which an intake channel section is formed. At least one adjustable throttle element for controlling the free flow cross section of the intake channel section is provided. At least one fuel opening opens into the intake channel section. A partition wall section is arranged in the intake channel section upstream of the throttle element. The partition wall section and the throttle element divide, in a completely open position of the throttle element, the intake channel section upstream of the throttle element into a mixture channel, into which the fuel opening feeds fuel, and an air channel. In order to improve the cooling of the fuel supply device, the partition wall section has at least one element for increasing the surface area within the mixture channel.

Mixture formation unit and two stroke engine having a mixture formation unit

A mixture formation unit has a base body in which an intake channel section is formed. The intake channel section extends from a first end side of the base body to a second end side of the base body. The mixture formation unit has at least one rectilinearly extending channel which opens into the intake channel section. The channel opens at the first end side of the base body. The mixture formation unit is preferably provided for a two stroke engine whose intake channel is divided downstream of the mixture formation unit into a mixture channel and an air channel.

MIXTURE FORMATION UNIT AND TWO STROKE ENGINE HAVING A MIXTURE FORMATION UNIT

A mixture formation unit has a base body in which an intake channel section is formed. The intake channel section extends from a first end side of the base body to a second end side of the base body. The mixture formation unit has at least one rectilinearly extending channel which opens into the intake channel section. The channel opens at the first end side of the base body. The mixture formation unit is preferably provided for a two stroke engine whose intake channel is divided downstream of the mixture formation unit into a mixture channel and an air channel.

Stratified scavenging two-stroke internal combustion engine and carburetor thereof

A carburetor achieves better emission characteristics while improving a combustion state by increasing a delivery ratio of a stratified scavenging engine and reducing intake resistance. No dividing wall is provided between a throttle valve 204 and a choke valve 242, and a gap 244 between the valves 204 and 242 is opened. Intake air in both of an upper region and a lower region of the choke valve 242 flows into an air-fuel mixture passage 246 in a lower region of the fully-open throttle valve 204. A main nozzle 202 is arranged so as to be inclined toward the throttle valve 204.

Stratified scavenging two-stroke internal combustion engine and carburetor thereof

The present invention is to prevent mixing of fresh air and an air-fuel mixture when a throttle valve is fully opened and increase a delivery ratio. A main nozzle (30) is surrounded by a tunnel-like air flow guiding member (52). The air flow guiding member (52) is opened at its front and back sides. A whole amount of fuel discharged via a main nozzle (30) is sent to a downstream side by an air flow created by the air flow guiding member (52). When a throttle valve (22) and a choke valve (24) are both in a fully-opened state, fresh air flows into an air-fuel mixture passage (12) through a gap between these valves (22, 24).

The present invention is to prevent mixing of fresh air and an air-fuel mixture when a throttle valve is fully opened and increase a delivery ratio. A main nozzle (30) is surrounded by a tunnel-like air flow guiding member (52). The air flow guiding member (52) is opened at its front and back sides. A whole amount of fuel discharged via a main nozzle (30) is sent to a downstream side by an air flow created by the air flow guiding member (52). When a throttle valve (22) and a choke valve (24) are both in a fully-opened state, fresh air flows into an air-fuel mixture passage (12) through a gap between these valves (22, 24).
