BEARING WITH AT LEAST ONE SEGMENTED RING
A bearing provides an outer ring and an inner ring capable of rotating concentrically relative to one another, at least one of the inner and outer rings being split into a plurality of successive circumferential ring segments. For each pair of facing ends of adjacent successive ring segments of the split-ring, one of the facing ends includes at least one protrusion made in one part with the associated ring segment and protruding into a recess of complementary shape formed onto the other facing end to align the pair of facing ends in radial direction.
CONTROL CABLE QUICK DISCONNECT
A quick connect and disconnect arrangement for a cable comprises a housing for holding the cable. The housing comprises a first section and a second section. One of the first section and the second section comprises a protruding lug having an aperture therein and the other of the first section and the second section comprises a locking system. The locking system comprises a channel, an opening disposed along a portion of the channel and for receiving the lug, and a bolt configured to move within the channel. When, in use, the housing is closed around the cable, the lug is positioned in the opening, the channel is aligned with the aperture and the bolt is configured to move within the channel in order to engage with the aperture and thereby retain the lug in the opening.
POWER TRANSMISSION SHAFT
A power transmission shaft comprises a shaft unit interposed between first and second shafts; an engaged portion provided on one end of the second shaft and having an annular stepped part provided between a smaller diameter portion and a larger diameter portion; and an engaging portion provided on one end of the shaft unit and joinable with the engaged portion to rotate together about a common rotation axis, wherein the engaging portion comprises a cylindrical base portion that rotates together with the shaft unit, an elastically shrinkable cylindrical portion that is provided on one axial end of the cylindrical base portion to project toward the engaged portion and catching pawls that are provided by the elastically shrinkable cylindrical portion and latchingly engageable with the annular stepped part when the engaged portion and the engaging portion are coaxially arranged and joined with each other.
Journal bearing with offset bores for centering a misaligned pin
A journal bearing for centering a misaligned pin is disclosed. The journal bearing includes an outer bushing defining an outer bore. The outer bore is offset with respect to an axis of rotation of the journal bearing by a misalignment distance. The misalignment distance represents a distance between the axis of rotation of the journal bearing and a center axis of the misaligned pin. The journal bearing further includes an inner bushing defining an inner bore. The inner bore is offset with respect to the axis of rotation of the journal bearing by the misalignment distance. The inner bushing is seated within the outer bore of the outer bushing. The inner bushing and the outer bushing are both configured to rotate relative to one another to center an inner periphery of the inner bushing around the misaligned pin.
Apparatus and method for assembling a split sleeve onto a shaft
An apparatus and method for assembling a split sleeve onto a shaft. The split sleeve apparatus provides a first and second arcuate portion with each having a partial cylindrical configuration. The first and second arcuate portions have at least one finger extending circumferentially outward from their opposing ends. The at least one finger from each of the first and second arcuate portions complementarily engage one another to form a continuous cylinder. At least one aperture extends longitudinally through the at least one finger of the first and second arcuate portions. A dowel rod extends through the at least one aperture for connecting the first and second arcuate portions to form the cylinder. The first and second arcuate portions are fabricated from a material having heat expansion characteristics that allow the material to expand when heated during assembly and to contract when cooled creating an interference fit with the shaft.
Motion guide device
A motion guide device includes: a supporting body; a movable body which is movable along the supporting body; a roller which is configured to be rollable between the supporting body and the movable body; a roller holding member which is provided on the movable body to hold the roller, wherein the roller holding member comprises an upper roller holding member and a lower roller holding member, a protrusion is formed on the lower roller holding member, the protrusion is in a length direction of the movable body and opposite to a foot of the movable body, an opening is formed on the foot, the opening is opened to a side of the supporting body in the length direction to receive the protrusion, a protrusion width of the protrusion is greater than an opening width of the opening.
System for securing a pivoting bolt to a vehicle frame, vehicle frame for connecting a pivoting bolt and method for mounting a pivoting bolt to a vehicle frame
A system for securing a pivoting bolt to a vehicle frame, on which, in a mounted state, a link element, is mounted pivotably, including a sleeve element for receiving the pivoting bolt, wherein a collar region is provided or formed on the sleeve element, wherein the collar region is configured in such a manner that, in a mounted state, the collar region interacts in a form-fitting manner with a vehicle-frame-side engagement region, including a protrusion or an indentation, in order to avoid twisting of the sleeve element.
Bearing unit for a turbocharger rotor
The invention relates to a bearing unit for a turbocharger rotor. The bearing unit comprises a bearing housing and a bearing bush which is arranged in a central bore for radially mounting a turbocharger rotor in the bearing housing. In the region of a first axial end, the bearing bush has a radially outwardly extending projection. The projection is designed to interact with the bearing housing as an anti-rotation safeguard for the bearing bush.
Combined insulator and conductor assembly for bearings with adjustable conductor
A combined electrical insulator and conductor assembly for a bearing disposable between a shaft and a housing includes an annular insulator disposable about the bearing outer ring and configured to prevent electric current flow between the outer ring and the housing and including a plurality of projections extending axially along and spaced circumferentially about a centerline. A conductor includes a conductive disk with an outer radial end engageable with the housing inner surface, an inner radial end defining a central opening for receiving the shaft and openings each receiving a separate one of the plurality of projections of the insulator such that the disk is axially displaceable relative to the insulator. An annular conductive brush subassembly is coupled with the conductive disk and includes a plurality of electrically conductive fibers contactable with the shaft outer surface so as to provide a conductive path between the shaft and the disk.
Apparatus and Method for Assembling a Split Sleeve onto a Shaft
An apparatus and method for assembling a split sleeve onto a shaft. The split sleeve apparatus provides a first and second arcuate portion with each having a partial cylindrical configuration.
