A SELF-ALIGNING BEARING SUPPORT ASSEMBLY FOR SUPPORTING A RADIAL LOAD ROTARY OR LINEAR BEARING
A self-aligning bearing support assembly for supporting a radial load rotary or linear bearing. The bearing support assembly has a main axis (A) and includes an outer sleeve and an inner sleeve at least partially received in the outer sleeve. The inner sleeve has an axially extending bore for supporting a rotary or linear bearing or for forming a bearing surface of a bearing. Three or more circumferentially separated chambers are formed between the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve. Each chamber is confined in all directions by walls of the assembly. A lump of a substantially incompressible material fills each of the at least three chambers with the chamber concerned substantially completely enclosing the lump.
FLEXURE BASED PRELOAD MECHANISM
A preloading mechanism including: a first part having a protrusion; and a second part having a recess that matches the protrusion; wherein the recess includes a gib that is flexibly movable via a flexure; wherein a dimension of the recess varies based on a flexing of the gib; when the gib is in a neutral state, the dimension of the recess is smaller than a corresponding dimension of the protrusion; when the gib is in a flexed state, the dimension of the recess is larger than the corresponding dimension of the protrusion; and when the protrusion is inserted into the recess, the gib is in an interfering state, providing a preload force for eliminating a clearance between a surface of the protrusion and a corresponding surface of the recess, wherein the flexing of gib in the interfering state is between those of the neutral state and flexed state.

A bearing assembly of a power generation structure including, a rail; and a housing adapted to support the rail; where the housing includes a fixed housing portion attached to a support beam, and an adjustable housing portion attached to rail, where a low friction material is present at an interface between an exterior surface of rail and an interior surface of the adjustable housing portion, where the adjustable housing portion is capable of self-aligning adjustment of at least a portion of the rail out of alignment with a central axis of the support beam.
Wireline traversal device
A wireline traversal device may include an outer housing having a longitudinal slot, and an inner housing rotatably disposed within the outer housing. The inner housing includes a helical slot, a forward end of which is aligned with the longitudinal slot in the outer housing when the inner housing is in a home position. A forward end cap having a longitudinal slot and an inclined engagement surface is attached to a forward end of the outer housing. The longitudinal slot on the outer housing is aligned with the longitudinal slot on the forward end cap. At least two bearing members are rotatably disposed within the outer housing, with one bearing member attached to each end of the inner housing. The wireline traversal device may be used in a variety of applications in connection with a wireline, such as a zip line or safety line.
Drawer slide rail
A drawer slide rail includes a longitudinal body and a base. The longitudinal body includes a pair of first sidewalls extending respectively from two sides of a front end portion of the longitudinal body and a pair of second sidewalls respectively connected to the first sidewalls and extending respectively from two sides of the longitudinal body. The base is mounted on the front end portion of the longitudinal body and includes first to third supporting arms. The first supporting arm is pressed against a bottom portion of one of the first sidewalls. The second supporting arm is pressed against a bottom portion of one of the second sidewalls. The third supporting arm is pressed against a lateral portion of one of the second sidewalls.
Adjustable bearing assembly
The present invention provides an adjustable bearing assembly comprising a first bar and a second bar. The first bar comprises a first engagement surface which is configured to engage with a second engagement surface on the second bar. The first bar further comprises a bearing surface opposite the first engagement surface. One of the first or second engagement surfaces comprises a first plurality of teeth aligned in a first direction, wherein the plurality of teeth are configured to engage a plurality of inclined surfaces on the other of the first or second engagement surfaces such that a force applied to the second bar in the first direction causes the distance between the bearing surface and the second bar to vary.

A module bearing and a power transmission device including the module bearing. A module bearing includes a module outer wheel supported by and in contact with a side wall of a gear to guide rotational or linear motion of the gear, a bearing rotor rotatably disposed radially inward of the module outer wheel, and a part-assembly type module inner wheel disposed radially inward of the module outer wheel with the bearing rotor interposed therebetween and connected to the bearing rotor, in which a plurality of separate parts are manufactured and assembled into the part-assembly type module inner wheel to apply a preload to the bearing rotor.
LINEAR GUIDE MECHANISM AND LINEAR ACTUATOR
A linear guide mechanism includes an actuator side guide member, moving block side guide members disposed on both sides of the actuator side guide member, and a plurality of balls disposed in two rows, respectively, between the actuator side guide member and each of the moving block side guide members. Set screws that are capable of adjusting a pre-loading of the balls and are capable of improving the straightness of the moving block side guide members, are attached to a moving block.
