FLOWLINE QUICK CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY

In some implementations, a flowline connector assembly includes a first flowline member having a first cylindrical passageway, and a first stop extending radially outward from an outer surface of the first flowline member, and a second flowline member having an annular configuration defining a second cylindrical passageway. The flowline connector assembly may include a pin, having an annular configuration, configured to be inserted into the first cylindrical passageway and the second cylindrical passageway. The flowline connector assembly may include a collar where an inner surface of the collar at a first end is configured to contact a first side of the first stop, and the inner surface of the collar at a second end is configured to contact a first side of a second stop to connect the first flowline member with the second flowline member, where the second stop extends radially from the pin or the second flowline member.

A fitting provides a sealed connection in an optionally pressurized fluid conveying system. The fitting can include a face seal surface defining an annular groove having an outer wall that extends inward from the face seal surface, a floor and an inner ramp wall that extends away from the floor toward the face seal surface. The inner ramp wall can be disposed at an acute angle relative to the floor. In some applications, this angle can be about 64° to about 68°. An O-ring can be disposed in the annular groove and under tension due to being stretched over the inner ramp wall. The O-ring can exert a force radially inward toward the longitudinal axis along the inner ramp wall to thereby improve retention of the O-ring in the annular groove.

Riser support assembly

A riser support assembly includes a riser support pipe comprising a sidewall defining a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and an intermediate portion extending therebetween, the intermediate portion configured to extend through an elevated support structure; and a mount extending from the sidewall, the mount configured to engage a mounting surface of the elevated support structure to support the riser support assembly on the mounting surface.

A fluid connector in a fluid joint assembly such as in a machine hydraulic system includes a connector body having a stem with a seal face extending circumferentially around a connector axis at a backup sealing location. A non-metallic seal is upon the stem and extends circumferentially around the connector axis at a primary sealing location. The fluid connector also includes a swivel nut including threads and a snap retainer and supported for rotation upon the stem. The fluid connector can establish a primary sealing state by way of hand installation, and can be torqued to a backup sealing state to provide a robust metal-to-metal seal.

Fluid connector

An example fitting includes: a fitting body having counterbore, where the counterbore defines an annular shoulder within tire fitting body: a spring having a first end interfacing with the annular shoulder of the counterbore; and a seal carrier having: (i) a first end face interfacing with a second end of the spring, (ii) a second end face configured to interface with an internal surface of a port, such that the spring is configured to apply a biasing force on the seal carrier toward the internal surface of the port, (iii) a first annular groove on an exterior peripheral surface of the seal carrier, where the first annular groove is configured to have a radial seal disposed therein, and (iv) a second annular groove in the second end face, where the second annular groove is configured to have a face seal disposed therein.

A flow control device for conveying a fluid therethrough includes a port having an engaging end configured for engagement with a tube fitting and an inner surface defining a passageway configured to provide fluid communication through the flow control device. A shoulder is formed on the inner surface of the port adjacent the engaging end. The shoulder defines a first seating surface and a second seating surface. A protuberance is formed on one of the first seating surface and the second seating surface.

Formed pipe end-section of a pipeline and pipe screw-connection

A formed pipe end-section of a pipeline for connecting the pipeline at an end includes: an annular bead with a first abutment face facing away from the end of the pipeline and a second abutment face facing towards the end of the pipeline; a chamfer reducing a diameter of the pipe end-section from the annular bead towards the end of the pipeline; and a radial recess for accommodating a sealing ring. The chamfer extends at least between the annular bead and the radial recess.

JOINT PIPE

[Problem] To provide a pipe joint allowing reliable connection to a pipe P without flaring.

[Means of solving problem] The pipe joint includes a flare joint body 1F, a cap nut 2, and a stop ring 3. A curved pressure-contacting slope surface 32 of the stop ring 3 contacts a slope surface 5 with reduced-diameter tip of the flare joint body 1F under pressure to establish sealing by means of mutual contact between metallic surfaces. The pipe P is grasped in a tightly pressure-contacting state using a back tooth and a front tooth formed at a tip head 37 of a substantially cylindrical thin part 35 of the stop ring 3.
