A hose assembly includes a hose, a connector body, and a collar. The connector body has an outer end portion defining a fluid connector, an inner end defining a nose portion received in an inner bore of the hose end portion, and an intermediate portion including first and second annular flanges spaced apart to define a dog lock groove. The collar includes an outer end portion defining an inner radial dog lock received in the dog lock groove, an annular step portion extending radially outward of and axially inward of the dog lock in axial alignment with the first annular flange, and an inner end portion extending radially outward of and axially inward from the step portion, the inner end portion being in radial compression against an outer surface of the hose end portion.

A flexible polymeric pipe for transportation of oil, gas or water, having an unbonded reinforcing intermediate layer between two polymeric layers. The pipe has a vent for the intermediate layer which allows venting of gas from the intermediate layer through to the exterior environment. The vent is generally impervious to water but pervious to air and gas.

A cable connector attachment is provided, the attachment including at least a hose fitting, wherein said hose fitting is swedged into an associated cable and threaded into a CCP; and a set screw, wherein said set screw is inserted into the hose fitting to ensure the CCP cannot vibrate loose. Optimally the set screw is a tapered screw, so that greater force is applied to the terminus end. A braided hose is disposed in mechanical communication with a stainless hose fitting and secured using one or more fasteners. The hose is securely pressed completely inside the stainless hose fitting and then crimped, and a status signal is optimally provided by a crimp machine when a predefined crimp has been completed, thereby notifying the operator of such status. Optimally the crimp measures between about 1.1-about 1.2 inches.

A coupling part for a hose coupling, in particular for high-pressure hydraulic lines, and a hose coupling having such coupling part, has a connection head for connecting to a fitting, and, formed on the connection head, a press-fit nipple, which is intended for accommodating a hose-end portion, on which a pushed-on hose-end portion can be fastened in a sealing manner by pressing action by an at least partially sleeve-form press-fit ferrule enclosing the hose-end portion, and which has a rib profile including ribs bounded by grooves. The rib profile has at least two profile portions. The grooves of the first profile portion, which is directed towards the connection head, have a symmetrical cross section and the grooves of the second profile portion have an asymmetrical cross section and a larger groove volume than the grooves of the first profile portion.

HOSE AND RIGID PIPE CONNECTING SYSTEM USED IN HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM

A hose and rigid pipe connecting system used in a high pressure system comprises: a hose made up of connecting a core pipe and a corrugated pipe, the outer side of the corrugated pipe being wound and woven by metal wires; a rigid pipe; a transition joint connecting the hose and the rigid pipe; and a retaining ring buckled on the outer side of the hose and the transition joint. The invention has the advantages that the sealing performance between the hose and the rigid pipe can be greatly improved, and the problem that the connecting part of the hose and the rigid pipe can not bear pressure Or resist high and low temperatures is solved; besides, the axial tensile strength and sealing reliability are improved by winding and weaving metal wires on the outer side of the metal corrugated pipe and then welding with the core pipe.
