LOAD COUPLING ATTACHMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A load-decoupling attachment system is configured to secure to a primary structure. The load-decoupling attachment system includes one or more baffle tiers. One or more beams are coupled to the one or more baffle tiers. The one or more beams include a fore end and an aft end. A fore end coupling joint is configured to secure the fore end to a first portion of the primary structure. The fore end coupling joint includes a spherical bearing that allows the fore end to rotate in relation to the first portion of the primary structure. An aft end coupling joint is configured to secure the aft end to a second portion of the primary structure. The aft end coupling joint includes a slot that allows the aft end to linearly translate in relation to the second portion of the primary structure.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PRESSURE VESSEL
Disclosed is an apparatus for controlling a pressure vessel including a clamp that surrounds an outer peripheral surface of the pressure vessel fixed to a subject target, a driver that provides a driving force for adjusting a fastening force of the clamp according to an internal pressure of the pressure vessel, and a controller that performs a control such that rotation of the driver is prevented during an abnormal operation of the driver.
Transport element support assembly
A transport element support assembly comprises a front plate, a back plate, and a grommet. The front plate has a first opening and a first set of holes. The back plate has a second opening and a second set of holes. A chamber is formed by the first opening and the second opening and is configured to hold a transport element. The grommet is positioned within the chamber. The transport element support assembly formed by the front plate, the back plate, and the grommet is configured to provide electrical isolation between the transport element and an aircraft structure.
Repowering system for vehicles and vessels
A system for retaining a plurality of compressed gas cannisters for fueling a vehicle is provided, the system comprising: a base which includes: a plate including a distal end and a proximal end; a base engagement member at the distal end of the plate; and a first mating member proximate the proximal end; a cassette which includes: a top; a first side; a second side; a front; a back; a bottom to define an interior, the interior for housing the plurality of compressed gas cannisters; at least one fork pocket mounted on one of the top, the bottom or the back, the fork pocket extending from a distal end a distance; a plurality of gas cannister apertures extending between the interior and an ambient environment, wherein the bottom includes a bottom engagement member which extends outward beyond the first side at the distal end; a locking mechanism proximate the distal end; and a second mating member proximate a proximal end, wherein the first mating member and the second mating member are in pivotal engagement in use.
System and method for storing liquid and gaseous fuels
A system for storing fuel includes a support structure supporting at least one fuel tank a predetermined distance above ground. The fuel tank includes an inner tank configured to contain a gaseous fuel, an intermediate tank encompassing the inner tank and defining a first annular space therebetween, and an outer tank encompassing the intermediate tank an defining a second annular space therebetween. The first annular space is filled with a shock-absorbing resin for absorbing structural stresses, while the second annular space is filled with an insulating material providing for fire and ballistic resistance. The intermediate tank is connected to the support structure and to at least one adjacent fuel tank, and prevents the transfer of load to the inner tank.
GAS STORAGE SYSTEM
A portable subsea storage tank for the storage of gas products under pressure or oil products consisting of pipeline sections in an array which can be coated in specialist coatings and recovered for inspection and re-use. A method of self-installing the subsea storage tank is also described.
Cold-box system and apparatus for power management aboard ships
A cold-box system includes a bulk gas tank, and a plurality of cold-box compartments operationally associated with the bulk gas tank. A cold-box apparatus includes a plurality of cold-box compartments operationally associated with a bulk gas tank. In one embodiment the cold-box compartments may be spaced apart from the tank aboard a waterborne platform. The system and apparatus provide redundancy regarding power aboard ship for the bulk gas tank.
