HEAT EXCHANGER OF HEAT-SOURCE-SIDE UNIT AND HEAT PUMP APPARATUS INCLUDING THE HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger of a heat-source-side unit includes: a heat exchange unit where heat transfer tube groups, each of which includes a plurality of heat transfer tubes arranged in a vertical direction, are provided in an air passage direction in at least three or more rows; a liquid-side connecting pipe forming an inlet or an outlet for refrigerant in a liquid phase or in a gas-liquid two phase; and a distributor configured to distribute the refrigerant to a plurality of refrigerant flow passages forming the heat exchange unit. In at least two heat transfer tube groups of the heat transfer tube groups of the heat exchange unit, the liquid-side connecting pipe is connected to one end of a heat transfer tube located at least at a lowermost portion of each of the two heat transfer tube groups and the distributor is connected to the other end of the heat transfer tube.
HEAT EXCHANGER AND MULTI-SPLIT SYSTEM HAVING SAME
A heat exchanger (100) and a multi-split system having the same are provided. The heat exchanger (100) includes: a manifold (1) including a main body (11), an inlet (12) disposed in a bottom portion of the main body (11) and a plurality of split-flow ports distributed in a side wall of the main body (11) along a length direction thereof, in which the main body (11) includes a plurality of pipes from bottom to top, the pipe located downstream has a smaller flow area than the pipe located upstream in each two adjacent pipes, each pipe has a height no greater than 0.5 m, and a number of the pipes is 2≦N≦3; a header (2) communicated with the manifold (1) via a plurality of heat exchange tubes spaced apart from one another along an up and down direction, the header (2) having an outlet (21) for discharging a refrigerant.
Refrigeration System with Separate Feedstreams to Multiple Evaporator Zones
A refrigeration system has: (a) a fluid tight circulation loop including a compressor, a condenser and an evaporator, the evaporator having at least three evaporator zones, each evaporator zone having an inlet port, the circulation loop being further configured to measure the condition of the refrigerant with a refrigerant condition sensor disposed within the evaporator upstream of the evaporator outlet port; and control the flow of refrigerant to the evaporator based upon the measured condition of the refrigerant within the evaporator, and (b) a controller for controlling the flow rate of refrigerant to the evaporator based upon the measured condition of the refrigerant within the evaporator upstream of the evaporator outlet port.

A heat exchanger includes an inlet header in which a first inlet space and a second inlet space are formed, a plurality of first inlet-side heat exchanger tubes that are connected to the first inlet space, a plurality of second inlet-side heat exchanger tubes that are connected to the second inlet space, a return header in which a plurality of first return spaces connected to the first inlet-side heat exchanger tubes, respectively, and a plurality of second return spaces connected to the second inlet-side heat exchanger tubes, respectively, are formed, and a plurality of outlet-side heat exchanger tubes that are connected to the first and second return spaces, respectively, wherein a communication path that enables a first return space on a bottom side among the first return spaces and a second return space on a top side among the second return spaces to communicate is formed in the return header.

An air conditioner including a heat exchanger according to an aspect of the present disclosure, the heat exchanger includes a refrigerant pipe, and a plurality of fins including a first fin and a second fin spaced apart from each other in an extending direction of the refrigerant pipe, wherein the first fin includes a flat portion and a cut-up member protruding in an arrangement direction of the second fin in the flat portion, and the height of the cut-up member in the extension direction is between 0.5 and 0.7 times the distance between the first fin and the second fin.

A heat recovery apparatus, system and method of using the same. The heat recovery apparatus includes a particulate inlet, a particulate distributor in fluid communication with the particulate inlet, a cavity in fluid communication with the particulate distributor, a plurality of pipes contained within the cavity and configured for transmission of a heat transfer fluid therethrough, and a particulate outlet in fluid communication with the cavity.
Coil wound heat exchanger
A coil-wound heat exchanger with mixed refrigerant shell side cooling that is adapted to reduce radial temperature maldistribution by providing tube sheets at one end of a warm bundle that are each connected to tube sheets in a single circumferential zone and are in fluid flow communication with a control valve. Tube sheets at the other end of the warm bundle are each connected to tube sheets in a single radial section and in multiple circumferential zones. A temperature sensor is provided in each circumferential zone. When a temperature difference is detected, one or more of the control valves is adjusted to reduce the temperature difference.
Distributor, heat exchanger unit and air conditioner
An air conditioner including a distributor configured to distribute a fluid to a heat exchanger. The distributor comprises a main pipe; a partition defining a plurality of distribution paths in the main pipe; a first branched pipe inserted into the main pipe as much as first length, linked to a first distribution path of the plurality of distribution paths, connected to a first portion of the heat exchanger; and a second branched pipe inserted into the main pipe as much as second length different from the first length, linked to the first distribution path, connected to a second portion of the heat exchanger. A flow velocity of air exchanging heat at the first portion of the heat exchanger is faster than a flow velocity of air exchanging heat at the second portion of the heat exchanger. The first length is shorter than the second length.
