Network edge detection and notification of gas pressure situation
Techniques for detecting a high gas pressure situation within a gas delivery system (e.g., for natural gas delivery to homes and businesses) are described. In one example, a device measures gas pressure. If a pressure over a threshold value is detected, a nearby device is messaged. The nearby device either confirms the over-pressure condition or indicates it may be more localized. If the condition is present within an area of the gas delivery system and/or within a group of devices within the gas delivery system, protective measures may be taken, such as closing valves providing gas to a number of service sites.

Method for pressurized leak testing
A method for testing a device under test includes the steps of applying a vacuum to an interior of the device under test. Pressurizing a predetermined portion on an exterior of the device under test with helium to detect a potential pressure leak. Utilizing a large pressure differential during the exterior testing of the device under test as compared to the vacuum applied during to the interior of the device under test. Detecting a potential leak in the device under test while leaving no residual helium in a wetted area of the device under test.
FLUID COMPONENT BODY WITH LEAK TEST PASSAGES
A manifold body includes at least first and second valve body segments each comprising an upper perimeter wall portion defining a valve cavity and a lower base portion defining one or more flow ports, a unified leak test port, a first branch leak test passage extending from the unified leak test port to an outer peripheral portion of the valve cavity of the first valve body segment, radially outward of an outer seal surface in the valve cavity, and a second branch leak test passage extending from the unified leak test port to an outer peripheral portion of the valve cavity of the second valve body segment, radially outward of an outer seal surface in the valve cavity.
TEST DEVICE FOR SIMULATING SEALING PERFORMANCE OF ONE-WAY VALVE
Embodiments of the present disclosure belong to the field of valve sealing, and in particular, relate to a test device for simulating sealing performance of a one-way valve. A box is provided with a gas inlet pipe and a gas outlet pipe, the gas inlet pipe is communicated with a gas source, a detection device is communicated with the gas outlet pipe, the detection device is used to detect detection gas input into the box by the gas source, a sleeve is connected to the gas inlet pipe, one end of the sleeve is communicated with the gas source, the other end of the sleeve has a gas outlet, one end of a fitting piece is used to block the gas outlet, and the other end of the fitting piece is connected to a driving member, which is used to drive the fitting piece to move and rotate.
Valve packing fugitive emission detection system
In accordance with the resent invention, there is provided a fugitive emission detection system for use in conjunction with a valve having a packing deign which includes a primary packing and a secondary packing. The valve further includes a leak port which is disposed within the valve bonnet between the primary and secondary packings. The detection system is operative to maintain the leak port in a normally open state. As a result, any fluid leakage past the primary packing is normally sent to the detection system, as opposed to being applied to and thus pressurizing the secondary packing. In the event of that a prescribed level of fluid leakage beyond the primary packing is detected, the leak port will be closed. The closure of the leak port facilitates the pressurization of the secondary packing.
CONTAMINATION TEST RIG
System and methods are provided for a contamination test rig that includes a particle injection chamber including a pressure chamber, wherein a hopper, scale, and feeder are inside of the particle injection chamber, and wherein the test valve is disposed in a valve line that runs parallel to a by-pass line. A by-pass valve permits at least a portion of a mixture of air and contaminate particles to flow through the by-pass line instead of through the valve line when the by-pass valve is open, and prevents the mixture of air and contaminate particles from flowing through the by-pass line when closed.
MUD PUMP VALVE LEAK DETECTION AND FORECASTING
A system and method for controlling a pump in a drilling system, of which the method includes determining a plurality of baseline behaviors for one or more valves of the pump, determining a plurality of in-use behaviors for the one or more valves of the pump. Each of the plurality of in-use behaviors are determined based on one or more measurements from one or more sensors. The method also includes comparing the in-use behaviors and the baseline behaviors, and forecasting, based on the comparison of the in-use behaviors and the baseline behaviors, a remaining useful life of the at least one of the one or more valves.

Color releasing toilet overflow indicator
A device adapted for installation onto a toilet overflow pipe to indicate a leaking condition of a toilet flush valve. The device having a stem portion with a diameter configured for receipt within an interior diameter of a toilet overflow tube. The device including a housing forming a reservoir for collection of water prior to entering the overflow tube. The reservoir including a cavity for the placement of a water soluble pigment, wherein the pigment is dissolved within water in the housing and into the overflow tube. An alternate embodiment of the device, includes a stay member configured to support a ball float member in an off condition.
