A lighting device with an annular rectangular light that connects to the camera assembly by mechanical linkages. The annular rectangular light can connect to different components of a camera. The annular rectangular light can connect to a matte box or rods of the camera in some embodiments. The mechanical linkages allow positioning of the annular rectangular light such that it surrounds the front of a lens of the camera but does not obstruct a field of view of the lens.

A lighting apparatus for securing to differently dimensioned objects, in particular mobile devices, is intended to be provided. For this purpose, a lighting apparatus comprising an illuminant and a holding element is proposed, wherein the illuminant is secured to a first end section of a bistable element and the holding element is secured to a second end section of the bistable element, said second end section being situated opposite the first end section. The bistable element is rolled out in a first stable state, such that the illuminant is at a maximum distance from the holding element. The bistable element is rolled together in a second stable state. The lighting apparatus is clampable to the mobile device by spring force of the bistable element.

A camera accessory housing device has a connector element that receives a camera accessory. The connector element may be a substantially planar ferromagnetic plate that couples to a sustainably planar face of a camera accessory. The camera accessory may a have a camera accessory attachment element, such as a band with magnets. The magnets facilitate coupling of the camera accessory to the connector element.

The lens body includes transparent or semitransparent solid material; one end of the lens body includes a reflecting end; a projection area of the reflecting end on a mounting surface of the portable imaging device at least partially covers the illuminator.

A microarray LED flash, applied to a mobile phone for lighting an adjustable flashlight or projecting an image, comprises a LED array module, a mixing optical module and an optical module. The LED array module is configured in a shell of the mobile phone for generating a patterning light source. The mixing optical module and the optical module are detachably configured on an external surface of the shell to receive the patterning light source from the LED array module for lighting the flashlight or projecting the image respectively. A LED array chip could be used as the LED array module and combined with the outboard mixing optical module to generate a flashlight with adjustable color and light pattern. Furthermore, the invention can use the optical module to substitute for the mixing optical module for projecting an image from the patterning light source, therefore the mobile phone has a projection function.
