The method includes inserting a top electrode element into the top channel of the lamp bulb. The method includes providing a glass tubular structure attached to a bottom electrode element. The method includes filling the lamp bulb with a liquified gas through the bottom channel of the lamp bulb. The method includes inserting the bottom electrode element and the glass tubular structure into the bottom channel.

FAST START FLUORESCENT LIGHT BULB

An RF fluorescent lamp, comprising a bulbous vitreous portion of the RF fluorescent lamp comprising a vitreous envelope filled with a working gas mixture, a power coupler to induce an alternating electric field within the vitreous envelope, an electronic ballast, and a mercury amalgam accommodating structure mounted within the lamp envelope and adapted to absorb power from the electric field to rapidly heat and vaporize an amalgam of mercury to rapidly illuminate the lamp envelope during a turn-on phase of the RF fluorescent lamp, wherein the structure is comprised of a substrate material coated with a mixture of indium and gold.

Manufacturing method of high-pressure discharge lamp and sealed part structure for high-pressure discharge lamp

A method of manufacturing a high-pressure discharge lamp, comprising the steps of: inserting a mount into an interior of a glass tube having an outer diameter smaller than an inner diameter of an end part of a sealed container; radially constricting the glass tube at a first position located away from a metallic foil toward a tip of an electrode; sealing the mount by a region of the glass tube that ranges from the first position to at least the other end of the metallic foil; protruding the electrode out of the glass tube located away from the first position toward the tip of the electrode to form a glass-tube air-tightly sealed mount; inserting the sealed mount into the end part of the sealed container; and radially constricting the end part of the sealed container to sealing the glass tube of the sealed mount by the end part.

Ceramic metal halide lamp

A lucent waveguide plasma light source has a quartz waveguide body with a central through bore. The bore has orifices at its opposite ends, opening centrally of flat, end faces of the body. Between these the body has a circular cylindrical periphery. A drawn quartz tube is inserted into the body. The tube has its one end closed and a collar which locates the tube in the bore and is fused to the faces at the orifices of the bore. The tube is evacuated and charged with excitable material and closed as a sealed void. A Faraday cage and an antenna in a bore in the body are provided for feeding microwave energy to the light source. When powered with microwaves, resonance is established in the wave guide and a plasma is established in the void, wherein Light radiates and leaves the waveguide and Faraday cage radially of the periphery.

FAST START DIMMABLE RF INDUCTION LAMP

A dimmable induction RF fluorescent lamp comprising a dimming circuit enabling the induction RF fluorescent lamp to dim in response to a signal from an external dimming circuit, and having a main mercury amalgam having a vapor pressure at room temperature which is higher than the vapor pressure of the mercury amalgam formed on the flag.

A gas light source is disclosed where gas is contained within a graphene cylinder or graphene capsule. Electrodes extending into the graphene cylinder or capsule are stimulated by an electric voltage to emit light. Eight graphene cylinder light sources can be arranged into a seven-segment alpha-numeric display having a decimal point. Different gases produce different colors of light. Three gas light sources having different gases can be arranged into an RGB pixel. An array of RGB pixels can be formed into a display.
