Adjustable waveguide assembly and augmented reality eyewear with adjustable waveguide assembly
An adjustable frame assembly for augmented reality eyewear. The frame assembly includes a face portion for supporting at least one waveguide that creates an eye box, a support rest for supporting the face portion on a user, and a coupling for adjusting the position of the face portion relative to the support rest. This enables movement of the waveguide eye box relative to the support rest to position the eye box in front of the wearer's eyes.

Impedance tuners with linear actuators
The accuracy of an impedance tuner may be improved and the size may be reduced by using linear actuators instead of rotary motors. The linear actuator may be integrated with position sensors to allow very small size, and implemented with a servo system for best accuracy and speed. Spring loaded arms holding the mismatch probes allow the tuner to operate in any orientation to further fit into small spaces. The small size reduces losses by allowing direct connection to wafer probes for on-wafer measurement systems.

Waveguide structure comprising first and second waveguide sections connected to each other through a fixed connector
A waveguide structure includes a first waveguide section mechanically and electrically connected by a fixed connector to a second waveguide section. The waveguide sections include a dielectric material with a ground layer and a conductor structure with a pair of elongate conductors. The fixed connector includes a dielectric material with a pair of contact pads insulated from a ground layer. The fixed connector is attached by its top side to the bottom sides of interface sections of the waveguides sections forming a ground contact. The interface sections each comprise an intermediate conductor from each of the elongate conductors at the top side to the bottom side of the dielectric material. The intermediate conductors are connected via the contact pads.

Coupled-line bus to suppress classical crosstalk for superconducting qubits
A system includes a first quantum circuit plane that includes a first qubit, a second qubit and a third qubit. A coupled-line bus is coupled between the first qubit and the second qubit. A second circuit plane is connected to the first quantum circuit plane, comprising a control line coupled to the third qubit. The control line and the coupled-line bus are on different planes and crossing over each other, and configured to mitigate cross-talk caused by the crossing during signal transmission.
Integrated circuit-to-waveguide slot array coupler
A coupler comprising a silicon substrate with one or more double slot radiators configured to transmit or receive an RF signal, a slot balun circuit configured to isolate the RF signal, and a grounded coplanar waveguide configured to propagate the RF signal in a horizontal direction. The coupler can be included on an integrated chip with a second coupler and the chip can be positioned over two waveguides such that each coupler is positioned within the center of each waveguide aperture.
Communication system including a reception coupler coupled to a transmission line
A communication system includes a transmission line and a reception coupler that couples to the transmission line in an electromagnetic field and moves along the transmission line, wherein the reception coupler has end parts narrower than other parts with respect to a transmission direction of the transmission line.
HIGH-FREQUENCY CERAMIC PACKAGES WITH MODIFIED CASTELLATION AND METAL LAYER ARCHITECTURES
In examples, a semiconductor package comprises a ceramic substrate and a horizontal metal layer covered by the ceramic substrate. The metal layer is configured to carry signals in the 5 GHz to 38 GHz frequency range. The package also includes a vertical castellation on an outer surface of the ceramic substrate, the castellation coupled to the metal layer and having a height ranging from 0.10 mm to 0.65 mm.
