PCIE/SAS female electrical connector
A Peripheral Component Interconnect Express/Serial Attached SCSI (PSAS) female connector includes a frame member, a terminal member, and a cover member; the frame member including a terminal groove disposed in the frame member and a tilt portion disposed in the terminal groove adjacent to a plug end; the terminal member inserted in the frame member and including a Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) 7 pin terminal, a Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) 40 pin terminal, a 15 Pin signal terminal, a 6 Pin terminal, and a 4 Pin terminal. When the PSAS female connector is engaged with the male connector, the SATA 7 Pin terminal and the SAS 40 Pin terminal are pressed by a terminal of the male connector to be bent toward an outer lateral side of the terminal groove to contact the elastic plate of the cover member. The present invention effectively improves the cross interference during high speed transmission, thereby achieving the Generation 5 performance requirement.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
An electrical connector is provided. The electrical connector is connected to the counterpart electrical connector. The electrical connector includes: an insulating housing having an annular portion; a first elastic member provided to the annular portion; and a second elastic member provided to the annular portion, wherein the first elastic member has a first region exposed on an inner surface of the annular portion and configured to contact a first member of the counterpart electrical connector, the second elastic member has a second region exposed on an outer surface of the annular portion and configured to contact a second member of the counterpart electrical connector, and the first elastic member and the first member are electrical contacts and/or the second elastic member and the second member are electrical contacts.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION PIECE FOR AN ENDOSCOPE AND METHOD FOR ESTABLISHING AN ELECTRICAL CONNECTION IN AN ENDOSCOPE
An electrical connection piece including: a flexible circuit board having: a central section penetrated by contact openings arranged mirror-symmetrically; a first and second arm, each of the first and second arms extending in different directions away from the central section, the end of the first arm having a first end surface, the end of the second arm having a second end surface, the end of the first arm having a third end surface opposing the first end surface and end of the second arm having a fourth end surface opposing the second end surface; first strip conductors extending between the contact openings and first electrical contacting surfaces; and second strip conductors extending between the contact openings and second electrical contacting surfaces; wherein the first electrical contacting surfaces have a contact configuration different from a contact configuration of the second electrical contacting surfaces.
COMPACT ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
A receptacle connector includes a metal housing configured to prevent backwards insertion of a plug. The receptacle connector has walls bounding an assembly space with an insulative body therein. One wall is distant from an exterior surface of the insulative body to form an abutting groove between the metal housing and the insulative body. The abutting groove is configured to receive an abutting wall of the plug connector. The insulative body includes mating interface configured to receive a terminal portion of a plug connector. A wall of the metal housing opposite the abutting groove is adjacent a surface of the insulative body has a projection. If a user attempts to insert the plug with the terminal portion backwards, the projection interferes with the abutting wall, preventing backwards insertion of the terminal portion of the plug into the mating interface.
Foldable electronic device including flexible printed circuit board
According to an embodiment, it is possible to provide an electronic device including: a housing; a first printed circuit board disposed in the housing; a second printed circuit board disposed in the housing and spaced apart from the first printed circuit board; a first flexible printed circuit board electrically connecting the first printed circuit board and the second printed circuit board; and a second flexible printed circuit board electrically connecting the first printed circuit board and the second printed circuit board, in which the second flexible printed circuit board may be longer than the first flexible printed circuit board. Other embodiments are also disclosed.
Connector and assembly
A connector, with which an electrical wire is attachable, is connectable with a mating connector which has a mating contact portion. The connector comprises a housing and at least one terminal. The housing is provided with a support. The support has a receiving portion. The receiving portion is configured to receive a part of the electrical wire. The at least one terminal has an insulation displacement connection (IDC) portion, a contact portion, a supporting portion and a coupling portion. The IDC portion is configured to be insulation-displacement connected with the electrical wire. The support is positioned between the IDC portion and the supporting portion in a first predetermined direction. The coupling portion couples the IDC portion and the supporting portion with each other. The coupling portion has a neighboring portion. The neighboring portion neighbors to the support in a second predetermined direction perpendicular to the first predetermined direction.
BATTERY PACK CONNECTOR
A battery pack connector may include a plurality of layers stacked on top of each other along a vertical direction, and a plurality of pad portions arranged at corresponding positions in respective ones of the plurality of layers in central portions of the respective layers.
Ribbon cable connector, connector assembly and use of a connector
A ribbon cable connector for attachment to an end of a ribbon cable comprises a plurality of contact element receptacles adapted to receive a plurality of contact elements. A pair of adjacent contact element receptacles is separated from one another.
Terminal-free connectors and circuits comprising terminal-free connectors
Provided are terminal-free connectors for flexible interconnect circuits. A connector for connecting to a flexible interconnect circuit comprises a base comprising a housing chamber defined by at least a first side wall and a second side wall that are oppositely positioned about the base. A circuit clamp is coupled to the base via a first hinge, and is configured to move between a released position and a clamped position. A cover piece is coupled to the base via a second hinge, and is configured to move between an open position and a closed position. The circuit clamp is configured to secure the flexible interconnect circuit between the base and the circuit clamp in the clamped position. One or more protrusions on the circuit clamp are each configured to interface with a socket within the first or second side wall to secure the circuit clamp in the clamped position.
