System and method for provision of dial-requested service to a second line service enabled telecommunications device
A method and system for the leveraging a reserved relationship number by an SLS platform and/or SLS phone module for the purpose of performing special operations other than making an SLS call available for termination at a subscriber TD and/or a third party TD involve associating the SLS phone number of the subscriber, the primary number of the subscriber and a next set of instructions via a common reserved relationship number.
Mobile application for providing multiple second line numbers on single mobile device
A mobile application and a method are described for servicing a second line service (“SLS”) based communication request originating from a subscriber's telecommunications device (“TD”) even if the call signal does not include sufficient information to identify the phone number from which the subscriber initiated the call. The method involves associating the SLS phone number of the subscriber, the primary number of the subscriber and the primary number of a third party via a special relationship number.
Provision of additional network addressable numbers on single mobile device with no calling number identifier
A method and system are described for servicing a second line service (“SLS”) based communication request originating from a subscriber's telecommunications device (“TD”) even if the call signal does not include sufficient information to identify the phone number from which the subscriber initiated the call. The method involves associating the SLS phone number of the subscriber, the primary number of the subscriber and the primary number of a third party via a special relationship number.
Multiple device and multiple line connected home and home monitoring
Systems, devices, and techniques for multiple device and multiple line enabled computing devices and computing appliances are described herein. A device number can be assigned to a computing device and can be unique to the computing device. A plurality of alias numbers can be provided to the computing device and enabled for use by the computing device. Alias numbers can be enabled on multiple computing appliances, such that a user can transfer voice or video calls between devices using the alias numbers. Further, monitoring components in a home environment, for example, can be associated with one or more alias number so that security alerts can be provided to the various computing devices and computing appliances associated with the alias numbers.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING A PRE-POPULATED SECOND LINE SERVICE TO A TELECOMMUNICATIONS DEVICE
A method and system is disclosed for populating a local second line service (“SLS”) database in a telecommunications device (“TD”). The local SLS database is for use by an SLS application that provides a second line service to the user of the TD. To populate the local SLS database, historical data associated with prior use of the TD is mined for relevant information. Relevant information may include, for example, a primary phone number associated with other contact data. Relevant information is then used to populate the local SLS database. The local SLS database is then updated with a relationship number(s) in association with the relevant information. The relationship number enables the SLS application to direct a telecommunication to the primary number via a remote SLS platform.
