To satisfactorily transmit uncompressed RAW data between devices. A transmission unit transmits uncompressed RAW data to an external device via an HDMI transmission path. For example, the uncompressed RAW data is uncompressed RAW data in a Bayer layout. Furthermore, for example, the bit depth of each pixel of the uncompressed RAW data is 16 bits, and the transmission unit transmits the uncompressed RAW data using the YC 12 bit transfer mode. For example, the transmission unit transmits metadata related to the uncompressed RAW data together with the uncompressed RAW data.

To enable remote maintenance of a print control apparatus and an image forming apparatus (an image processing apparatus) to be performed by a terminal apparatus, the image forming apparatus connects to a server apparatus that relays communication between the print control apparatus and the terminal apparatus, and establishes VNC communication with the print control apparatus via the server apparatus and VNC communication with the terminal apparatus. The print control apparatus notifies the image forming apparatus that the print control apparatus will restart when instructed to restart by the terminal apparatus while the remote maintenance by the terminal apparatus is continuing. The print control apparatus instructs the image forming apparatus to reconnect to the server apparatus when the restart of the print control apparatus completes.

The Remote FAX Interconnect known as etherFAX® is a system and method that allows for the reception and delivery of information based on cloud computing infrastructure to or from one or more facsimile systems using Internet/web based communication protocols such as HTTP(S) as the transport between a facsimile capable application or hardware and the remotely accessible etherFAX® services.

An example diagnostic apparatus includes a user interface device, a communication interface, a processor, and a memory storing instructions executable by the processor. The processor executes the instructions to receive, through the communication interface, a response packet in response to a network performance measurement packet transmitted to an image forming apparatus, determine a network performance between the image forming apparatus and a diagnostic apparatus based on network performance information measured based on the received response packet and reference network performance information corresponding to the image forming apparatus, and provide the determined network performance through the user interface device.

A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a communication program causes a computer to perform a process including: receiving first information transmitted at a time when an external communication device communicates with a target communication device; generating second information which is to be transmitted to the target communication device by an own device; and correcting the second information which is to be transmitted to the target communication device at a time when the own device communicates with the target communication device, based on a difference between the first information and the second information.

An information processing device includes: a setting unit that, in a case where an image is transmitted to a plurality of destinations, performs setting of whether or not a destination of the image is an essential destination; and a transmission control unit that performs control such that: in a case where the destination of the image is the essential destination, transmission to the essential destination is performed prior to transmission to a non-essential destination; and, in a case where trouble occurs in the transmission to the essential destination, transmission subsequent to the transmission to the essential destination is ended.

Embodiment of systems and methods for the sending, delivery or receiving of faxes are disclosed herein. In particular, certain embodiments include a fax connector that may be deployed at users' sites, and a fax registration system that may be deployed remotely from these users' site. The fax connector can be accessed at a user's site over a computer based network in order to perform functions associated with faxing, including sending, receiving and obtaining status on faxes. The fax connector deployed at a sending user's site communicates with the fax registration system to obtain destination data associated with a recipient user's fax connector and transmits the fax to the destination fax connector over the computer based network based on the destination data obtained from the registration system. The fax can then be presented to the recipient at the recipient user's site.

An image forming device includes a communicator that receives a series of image data, a timer that measures a reception time of each of the series of image data, and a storage that temporarily stores the image data received before forming an image based on the series of image data. When the communicator receives image data, and subsequently does not receive the next image data within a predetermined reception time, the controller obtains the time difference between the time of the reception end of the series of image data, and the reception time of the image data last received by the communicator, determines that the last received image data may be incomplete image data when the time difference is greater than or equal to a predetermined time, and determines whether to form an image based on the image data stored in the storage according to the determination.

To provide a transmission apparatus, a reception apparatus, and a transmission system that operate at the same clock as the reception apparatus without mounting an oscillation circuit on the transmission apparatus and realize a low error rate.

A transmission apparatus includes a first reception circuit, and a first transmission circuit, in which the first reception circuit receives a clock from the reception apparatus, and the first transmission circuit synchronizes retention data retained by the first transmission circuit using the received clock, and transmits the retention data to the reception apparatus.
