The present disclosure discloses methods and systems for allowing a user to add one or more bookmarks while scanning a document. The method includes receiving a document for scanning from a user. Once received, a user interface is displayed to the user to select an option to add one or more bookmark to the document. The document is scanned to get scanned pages of the document. Based on the selection of the option by the user, one or more bookmarks are added to one or more scanned pages of the document. The scanned document including the one or more bookmarked pages is sent to the one or more recipients for the desired action.

A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium storing a first instruction-set of computer-readable instructions for a terminal device. The first instruction-set causes, when executed by the controller, the mobile terminal to receive a user operation to designate a designated second instruction-set through the input interface, and determine whether the memory stores designated device information including an operation ID identifying a designatable operation. The first instruction information is information causing the image processing device to execute the designatable operation identified by the operation ID as obtained.
