The air intake assembly further comprises a plurality of slats, wherein each one of the plurality of slats comprises a V-shaped cross-section. The air intake assembly further comprises a stiffener configured to provide structural support to the plurality of slats, wherein the stiffener is disposed within an interior of the frame. The plurality of slats are disposed within the frame through the plurality of openings of the frame and through the stiffener.

Also, the battery module and the control mechanism are disposed within the container. In another embodiment, a BBU shelf with a similar louver design that includes one or more battery modules may be implemented within an electronic rack.

The removal unit includes a holding unit to hold the filter in a cylindrical shape with the base layer outside and the collecting layer inside. The removal unit includes a fan connected to one of opening end sides of the filter held in the cylindrical shape and generates an air flow inside of the cylindrical shape which causes air passing from outside of the filter to inside to flow toward the one of the opening end sides.

Mechanism for preventing reflow for fan flap failure

A fan assembly includes a socket to receive a fan module, a fan flap coupled to a first side wall of the socket, and an anti-reflow device coupled to a second side wall of the socket. The fan flap moves in a curved path between a first position and a second position. The anti-reflow device has an attachment feature, an embossed feature, and a stopping feature. The attachment feature attaches the anti-reflow device to the second side wall. The embossed feature extends through a first aperture in the second side wall. The stopping feature extends through a second aperture in the second side wall and contacts the fan flap. When the fan module is removed, the stopping feature retains the fan flap in the first position to block the socket and prevent air from reflowing through the socket.

In one embodiment, a method includes initiating a protection mode at a network device having a protective cover installed to filter airflow entering a network device, reducing one or more of a fan speed, processing functions, or power at the network device, exiting the protection mode upon removal of the protective cover from the network device, and increasing one or more of the fan speed, the processing functions, or the power to resume normal operation at the network device.

An air filtration panel is used in an information handling system (IHS) rack within a modular data center. The air filtration panel includes an air filter and a filter frame. The filter frame has a lateral width at least as wide as a transverse opening in a four-post rack. The four-post rack has left and right flanges respectively coupled to a pair of posts of the four-post rack. Each of the left and right flanges has vertically aligned holes. The filter frame includes a channel that receives and contains an outer edge of the air filter. The filter frame left and right surfaces each having fastener through-holes spaced to align with and mount to respective holes in the corresponding one of the left and right flanges of the four-post rack.
