Check valve and modulator block including same
Disclosed is a check valve and a modulator block including the same. An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a check valve comprising a valve housing including first and second internal flow passages each formed to pass through an interior of the valve housing and having an inlet through which a fluid is introduced and an outlet through which the fluid is discharged; a first opening and closing member provided in the first internal flow passage and opened and closed by a hydraulic pressure of the fluid; a second opening and closing member provided in the second internal flow passage and opened and closed by the hydraulic pressure of the fluid; and a stopper member press-fitted to the valve housing.
High pressure relief valve closure
In one featured embodiment, a closure sleeve for a valve comprises a sleeve body surrounding a center axis and defined by an overall length extending from an upstream end to a downstream end. The sleeve body has an internal cavity that is enclosed at the downstream end and is open at the upstream end. The internal cavity is defined in part by a piston contact surface that is defined by an inner diameter. The piston contact surface is configured to slide against a piston to be received within the internal cavity, and a ratio of the inner diameter to the overall length is between 1.0 and 1.5.
Fuel pressure regulator
A fuel pressure regulator includes a housing defining a fuel inlet and a fuel outlet; a valve seat located between the fuel inlet and the fuel outlet, the valve seat being centered about a valve seat axis; a valve member centered about a valve member axis, the valve member being moveable between 1) a closed position where the valve member engages the valve seat to prevent fuel flow from the fuel inlet to the fuel outlet and 2) an open position where the valve member is disengaged from the valve seat to permit fuel flow from the fuel inlet to the fuel outlet; and a grounding member grounded to the housing which engages the valve member to cause the valve member axis to tip relative to the valve seat axis when the valve member moves from the closed position to the open position.
Valve Assembly
The disclosure relates to a valve assembly, comprising a valve body, in which a fluid channel is formed that connects a fluid inlet to a fluid outlet, wherein a preload force is applied to a closing body, which is movably mounted in the fluid channel, in the direction of a valve seat formed in the valve body, a fluid force acting on the closing body against the preload force in order to open the valve seat. The closing body is guided axially and/or radially by at least one guide ball, the guide ball being arranged between the closing body and a lateral boundary of the fluid channel.

Apparatus, systems and methods for managing fluids comprising a poppet valve having multiple springs
Apparatuses of the present invention create a backward pressure in fluid traversing a pipe, wherein the backward pressure within the pipe provides compression to the fluid effectively compressing entrapped gas bubbles within the fluid, allowing more accurate water meter measurements. The apparatus comprises a poppet valve having multiple springs to minimize or eliminate spring-binding caused by off-center hydraulic force during use.
Method and apparatus for controlling the flow rate of fluid discharge
A method and apparatus for use in controlling a dispensing rate of medication or other substance via a syringe, including, without limitation, into a patient, intravenous line port or heparin lock. A fluid flow rate control apparatus has a housing defining an inner chamber with an inlet port and an outlet port. Sealing seats are formed at or near both the inlet and outlet ports, and a moveable sealing element, such as a ball, can move within the inner chamber between the sealing seats. A spring biases the ball toward the inlet port sealing seat.
Check valve for use with super absorbent polymer
A check valve formed from a body having inlet and outlet interior chambers with the outlet chamber functioning as a diffuser when assisting in the arrest of reverse water flow. A seat base is positioned between the inlet and outlet chambers with a tubular sleeve for housing a stem having a lip positioned along one end and a threaded opposite end secured within the inlet chamber. A spring fits around the stem and a sphere is secured to the threaded end of the stem for engaging the seat base. Movement of the sphere away from the inlet chamber allows dry polymer to pass when the spring is compressed. Upon loss of force capable of moving the sphere away from the inlet chamber, relaxation of the spring allows the sphere to engage the seat base with an attached grommet before water can flow backwards into the interior chamber.
Precision fuel metering check valve cartridge
A check and flow metering cartridge valve having two flow restriction zones, each zone being disposed adjacent a respective end of a valve chamber containing a check valve member, the zones being serially encountered by flow through the valve, the restriction of the restriction zones together being a majority of the total flow restriction in the valve, each restriction zone producing at least 26% of a total restriction to flow through the valve, the restriction zones maintaining back pressure in the valve chamber when the check valve member is unseated thereby providing damping of the check valve member.
