An apparatus for forming and sealing a duct member for use in an air handling system. At least one work station accommodates a work piece, which is generally a cylindrical tube.
Efficient assembly of triple pane windows
This invention describes an apparatus for assembling triple pane insulating glass units from a plurality of insulating spacer frames having sealant or adhesive applied to opposite sides of said spacer frames.
Systems, methods, and assemblies for improvement of explosion and fire resistant properties in fluid containers
The present invention includes systems, assemblies, and methodologies for inhibiting combustion within fluid containers, enhancing the safety of such containers. One aspect includes a novel base module from which assemblies of varying shape and size, suitable for disposing within a variety of different fluid containers, are created. In one embodiment, the base module is made from an expanded mesh which is rolled in a novel cylindrical configuration according to a novel methodology. In another embodiment, the base module may be combined with other base modules to form an assembly. The present invention is also directed to an apparatus and method for creating base modules which allows for varying density of the base modules and therefore varying flexural strength and rigidity of the assemblies. As such, the packing density of assemblies within containers may be optimized to produce the desired effect of inhibiting combustion within the container.

Cable end holding device for holding a cable end of a cable, method for positioning a cable end of a cable, and cable assembly machine for assembling a cable
A cable end holding device for holding a cable end of a cable for a crimp process includes a cable holding element for holding the cable end and a vertical position alteration device having two lever elements for altering the vertical position of the cable holding element in a manner decoupled from a movement of a stamp during the crimp process. The lever elements extend mutually parallel along a longitudinal direction of the lever elements and are arranged mutually offset in height and in a width direction perpendicular to the vertical and perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The lever elements each are rotatably mounted about a first axis of rotation extending along the width direction, the two first axes of rotation extending mutually parallel.
Systems, methods, and assemblies for improvement of explosion and fire resistant properties in fluid containers
The present invention includes systems, assemblies, and methodologies for inhibiting combustion within fluid containers, enhancing the safety of such containers. One aspect includes a novel fuel containers which take advantage of the inventive principles disclosed herein. In one embodiment a fuel drum includes a plurality of base assemblies arranged in a drum cluster, and disposed within the drum. In another embodiment, a portable fuel container includes a plurality of base assemblies arranged in a can cluster and disposed within the portable fuel container. In yet another embodiment, a plurality of base assemblies are arranged in a cell cluster and disposed within a lattice structure.
Muntin bar fabrication system
A muntin bar fabrication system can be used to efficiency produce a wide variety of different types of muntin bars, allowing the fabrication of both standard and custom muntin bar assemblies for doors, windows, and other fenestration products. In some examples, the fabrication system includes a muntin bar stock storage assembly that holds multiple different types of muntin bar stock. The system also includes a muntin bar stock extraction device that extracts one of the different types of muntin bar stock from the storage assembly and conveys the extracted muntin bar stock to a feed device. The feed device feeds the extracted piece of muntin bar stock into a cutting system that includes a multi-axis cutter. The cutting system that performs one or more cutting operations on the extracted muntin bar stock so as to fabricate one or more individual muntin bars from the extracted muntin bar stock.
