The rear member is pivotally coupled to the frame between an open position and a closed position. The ramp system includes a first track coupled to the first side member and defining a longitudinal channel therein, and a second track coupled to the second side member and defining a longitudinal channel therein. A ramp is pivotably coupled to the first and second tracks about a pivot axis, and includes a ramp floor, a first side panel, and a second side panel. The system includes a latch to maintain the ramp in a stowed positon.
TRACK EXTENSION FOR A PASSENGER VEHICLE AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY
A track extender for a sliding door track of an OEM passenger vehicle having a passenger opening, and a door operatively coupled to a sliding mechanism configured to slide along the sliding door track of the OEM vehicle. The sliding door track includes a track channel extending from the passenger opening toward a rear portion of the vehicle, wherein the sliding door track includes a first end located toward the passenger opening and a second end located toward the rear portion of the vehicle. The track extender includes a track extension body located at the second end of the track wherein the track extension body defines an extension channel. The extension channel is aligned with the track to lengthen the track and to extend a travel distance of the sliding mechanism along the track and to increase a width of the passenger opening.
VEHICLE FLOOR STRUCTURE
A vehicle floor structure includes a floor member that includes an opening that is open at an end corresponding to an entrance, the opening extending toward a vehicle cabin side, and a floor panel that is supported by the floor member to cover the opening and includes an open end at a position corresponding to the entrance. The floor panel is configured by sequentially arranging and integrating unit panels in a width direction with a direction parallel to the open end serving as a longitudinal direction of the unit panels.
Tread device for a retractable step access system for a vehicle, and retractable step access system with a tread device
A tread device for a retractable step access system for a vehicle includes a tread and at least one wiper device. The wiper device is coupled or couplable movably to the tread and configured in the form of a flap and is arranged and designed to wipe off dirt and to form a ramp by lying, under the force of gravity, on the retractable step. The wiper device is arranged and designed to lie on the retractable step both in an operating state, in which the retractable step is arranged protruding from under the tread, and also in a rest state, in which the retractable step is arranged underneath the tread.
LIFT ASSEMBLY FOR A PASSENGER VEHICLE
A wheelchair lift for a passenger vehicle such as a passenger bus, a motorcoach, or a class A motorhome. The wheelchair lift includes a housing having sidewalls and a plurality if bearings and a carriage supporting one or more of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components. A lift assembly is coupled to the carriage and includes a first rail and a second rail supported by the plurality of bearings. A first scissor leg assembly is coupled to the first rail and a second scissor leg assembly is coupled to the second rail, wherein each of the first scissor leg assembly and the second scissor leg assembly move between an expanded and a collapsed condition. A platform is coupled to the first the second scissor leg assemblies, wherein movement of the first scissor leg assembly and second scissor leg assembly between the expanded and collapsed condition adjusts a position of the platform.
LIFT ASSEMBLY WITH HANDRAILS FOR A PASSENGER VEHICLE
A wheelchair lift for a passenger vehicle such as a passenger bus, a motorcoach, or a class A motorhome. The wheelchair lift includes a housing having sidewalls and a plurality of bearings and a carriage supporting one or more of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components. A lift assembly, coupled to the housing, includes a first and second scissor leg assembly couples to a platform. First and second handrail assemblies are respectively coupled to first and second sidewalls of the platform. The first handrail assembly includes a lower handrail shield coupled to a first handrail, and an upper handrail shield rotatably coupled to the lower handrail shield and moveable between a lowered position and a raised position, wherein the upper handrail shield in the lowered position is moveable with the lower handrail shield between a storage location and a boundary location.
BOARDING AND ALIGHTING SUPPORT SSTRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE
A boarding and alighting support structure is applied to vehicle having a deck capable of boarding in a wheelchair. The boarding and alighting support structure includes a slope plate which projects obliquely from the boarding entrance end of the deck toward the ground, and a mounting member for installing the base portion of the slope plate at the boarding entrance end of the deck. The mounting member is configured to so that one end side is fixed to the base portion, other end is fixed to the entrance port end, and the one end side is flexibly configured with respect to the other end side.
Wheelchair lift for mounting to a vehicle
A wheelchair lift for mounting to a vehicle includes a platform assembly configured to support a wheelchair. The wheelchair lift includes a roll stop to be moved between an entry position to allow a wheelchair to be loaded to or unloaded from the platform assembly, and a barrier position to prevent the wheelchair from falling off the platform assembly. The wheelchair lift includes a mechanical actuator mechanism for moving the roll stop between the entry position and the barrier position. The mechanical actuator mechanism is configured to keep the roll stop in the entry position, when the platform assembly is in a ground level position, and to block the roll stop from moving from the barrier position to the entry level position, when the platform assembly is in the horizontal position.
VEHICLE RAMP DEPLOYMENT APPARATUS
A vehicle ramp deployment apparatus is mounted on a vehicle, for deploying a ramp from a vehicle body and retracting the ramp into the vehicle body. The vehicle ramp deployment apparatus includes an electric motor configured to drive the ramp for a deploying or retracting operation, an ECU configured to execute driving control of the electric motor and to execute stop retaining control of the electric motor to retain a stopped state of the electric motor, and a pulse sensor configured to detect rotation of the electric motor. The ECU is configured to shift from the stop retaining control to power save control in response to detection, with the rotation sensor, of the electric motor having not been rotated for a predetermined time period.
RETRACTABLE RAMP ASSEMBLY FOR ALLOWING PEOPLE TO ENTER VEHICLES
