MIXING ACCESSORY
An apparatus for mixing is disclosed. In embodiments, the apparatus includes a head, a shaft, and a base. In embodiments, the shaft couples to the head and includes a first opening at a bottom portion of the shaft. In embodiments, the base couples to the bottom portion of the shaft and includes a second opening that extends through the base and is aligned to the first opening. In embodiments, the first and second openings are configured to receive a reciprocating motor shaft.
Methods for grinding of samples using a combination of rotational and linear motion
Disclosed herein are devices, apparatuses, and methods for grinding of samples. A method includes securing a sample vial in a holder attached to a connecting linkage, the sample vial having a grinding media in the sample vial. The method includes rotating a crank that is operatively coupled to a proximal end of the connecting linkage at a proximal pivot point so that the proximal pivot point undergoes rotational motion. The method includes restricting a distal pivot point of the connecting linkage to a linear path, the distal pivot point near a distal end of the connecting linkage. A result being that the sample vial undergoes a combination of rotational and linear motion.
AEROSOL CAN MIXING DEVICE
An aerosol can mixer system includes an aerosol mixer device with a stem perpendicularly connected to a base, a housing integrally connected to the base on a side opposite the connection of the stem and at least one magnet connected to either the base or the housing. The at least one magnet is configured to releasably secure an aerosol can within the device. The stem is mounted to the base and is configured to be received by a handheld electrical device to permit rotating and mixing contents of the aerosol can.
GRINDING SAMPLES USING ROTATIONAL AND LINEAR MOTION
The disclosure is directed to a sample preparation apparatus for grinding or homogenizing test samples. More specifically, the disclosure relates to grinding samples using rotational and linear motion. Grinding samples can be accomplished with an apparatus with a slider-crank mechanism that is attached to an oscillating connecting linkage. The amplitude of oscillatory motion can be greater than or equal to a length of a sample processing chamber.
Navigated surgical system
A surgical system including a surgical tool and a navigation system for tracking the position of the surgical tool. The surgical tool comprising a housing including a variable speed motor and control module disposed within the housing. The navigation system comprising a navigation console in communication with the control module of the surgical tool, the navigation console may be configured to communicate instructions to the control module of the surgical tool based on the position of the surgical tool relative to a defined zone. The navigation console may be configured to deactivate the surgical tool based on the position of the surgical tool relative to the defined zone. The navigation console may also be configured to provide a user-selectable override option to allow continued operation of the surgical tool within the defined zone.
Mixing tool with a paint can opener
The mixing tool is for opening a container and for mixing a product contained in the container. The tool includes a mixing device which is shaped to mix the product contained in the container. A shank extends along a length from the mixing device to an end face. A channel is formed into the end face for receiving an edge of a lid of the container to allow the tool to be used to pry the lid off of the container.
MIXER TOOL
An apparatus is disclosed for mixing substances, such as paint. The apparatus includes an elongate member with a plurality of openings formed within it. A filament is threaded through the openings creating bights between openings. The bights and ends of the filament sweep through the substance when the elongate member is rotated, which works to mix the substance.
Peanut butter mixer system and method
A peanut butter mixer system including: a screw-mixer formed as a continuous rod member having sequential looped coils along a length of said continuous rod member and terminating with a cutting edge; wherein said screw-mixer is powered via a motor and a power source as manipulated by a user-operator to re-mix peanut butter in a provided container. The screw-mixer is powered via the motor and power source as manipulated by a user-operator.
Hand-Held Power Tool
A hand-held power tool includes a housing in which a drive unit and an impact-mechanism unit are arranged. The hand-held power tool further includes a tool-receiver interface configured to releasably connect with a tool receiver, the tool receiver configured as a stirrer-basket receiver. A user interface is configured to set at least one of a rotary-hammer mode and a stirring mode for the hand-held power tool.
Paint Can Lid Pour Spout
A paint container lid assembly for a standard paint container includes an opening with a threaded adapter ring and a removable threaded cap. A pour spout/funnel includes a tubular lower portion having an internally threaded end to removably engage the adapter ring. The upper portion of the spout/funnel comprises a coffer-like body having an elongated opening. A spout/funnel cap is slidably secured to the spout/funnel to close the entire spout/funnel upper opening or partially unblock the opening to meter and control the rate of outflow of paint.
