DEPLOYABLE TRAIL SIGHT
A trail sight for a vehicle, according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a body configured to extend in a longitudinal direction along a length of a vehicle, wherein the body comprises a first portion fixed to a vehicle body structure and a second portion that is moveable relative to the first portion between a retracted position and a deployed position.
TRAIL SIGHT
A trail sight, according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a body configured to extend in a longitudinal direction along a length of a vehicle, at least one first attachment interface associated with the body, and at least one second attachment interface associated with the body. The at least one first attachment interface is used to mount the body to a vehicle structure. The at least one second attachment interface is configurable to provide an accessory mount interface and/or a tie down mount interface
Clasping Mechanism
In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to individually secure carts, racks, and the like within delivery vehicles using a universal clasping mechanism. The clasping mechanism is configured to clamp shut on a portion of the carts to thereby restrain the carts during transportation. In some embodiments, locking the clasping mechanism can be achieved by pushing a portion of the mechanism to thereby pivot arms of the mechanism to clamp on a portion of the cart.
SYSTEM FOR SECURING A CAMPER TO A TRUCK BED
A camper mounting assembly includes mounting rails, C-channels, a front bracket, and a rear bracket. The front bracket and rear bracket are attached to the camper, and the mounting rails are attached to the bed of a truck. The C-channels are secured to the mounting rails and facilitate installing and securing the camper to the truck bed. The C-channels can be easily removed to allow access to and use of the truck bed.
INTEGRATED HITCH MOUNTING SYSTEM
A hitch mounting system integrated into to a vehicle, where the vehicle includes a frame and a body, including a load bed having an integrated mounting apparatus. The hitch mount system includes a receiving member, which may be a receiving member that is integrated with the frame of a vehicle capable of attaching to a fifth wheel or a gooseneck trailer attachment through the body or bed of the vehicle.
Footman loop clip
A footman loop clip includes a body and a bend formed in the body such that an end of the body is inboard of the bend, the body having an aperture. A pin passes through the aperture and has a pin head on one end, and a pull feature on the other end. A spring biases the pull feature toward the body. The pull feature is biased toward the body and when the pull feature is pulled a gap is formed and increased between the pin head and the end of the body.
Wheelchair securement system and assembly
A wheelchair securement system includes a first anchoring mechanism and a second anchoring mechanism. The first anchoring mechanism includes a first bar, a first set of seat track anchors, and a first set of adjustable strap anchors. The first bar extends between the first set of seat track anchors and is secured thereto. The first set of adjustable strap anchors is secured to the first bar, and the first set of adjustable strap anchors is configured to be securable to a wheelchair. The second anchoring mechanism includes a second bar, a second set of seat track anchors, and a second set of adjustable strap anchors. The second bar extends between the second set of seat track anchors and is secured thereto. The second set of adjustable strap anchors is secured to the second bar, and the second set of adjustable strap anchors is configured to be securable to the wheelchair.
Load securing tie down clamp
A tie down clamp comprises two U-shaped pieces interconnected via roll pins or similar mechanisms, wherein a cam arm is pivotally mounted on an axle between the two U-Shaped pieces. A double torsion spring wraps around the axle with the “hook” of the spring pressing against the cam arm when engaged. The cam arm includes a bore sized to accommodate a hook as may be found on a load securing mechanism. The bore may be beveled on each side to prevent “sharp edges” from being formed by the load securing mechanism. The bore is close to the pivot point of the cam arm. The cam arm includes a protrusion at the bottom so that the point of contact with the trailer angle iron, when the cam arm is engaged, is toward the end of the cam arm and offset from the vertical plane that runs through the axle roll pin.
Lashing device
A lashing device includes: a base seat having a bottom wall, and two pivot lugs which cooperate with the bottom wall to define a pivot slot thereamong, and each of which is formed with an pivot hole communicating with the pivot slot; a pivot pin extending through the pivot hole of each of the pivot lugs; and an eye plate received in the pivot slot, and having a middle portion that is formed with a pivot hole provided for the pivot pin to movably extends therethrough, and first and second wing portions which are connected to opposite ends of the middle portion, respectively, and each of which has an elongated hole having an arc section. The arc axes of the arc sections of the elongated holes are aligned with the center axis of the pivot hole.
Tie-Down Chain Anchor and Storage Systems
A tie-down chain anchor and storage system for use on trailers, such as flatbed trailers. The system includes a container for holding the chain when not in use a top opening that has anchor slots for securing the chain at a given distance when using the chain to secure equipment on the trailer. The container has a flat top, and the container is coupled to other aspects of the trailer with the flat top flush with a flat portion of the trailer. The system allows for storage of the securing line, e.g., chain, point of pull, and no impediment in loading the trailer. Other embodiments are presented.
