APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A VEHICLE SYSTEM
20180001871 · 2018-01-04 ·

The present disclosure relates to apparatus for controlling operation of a vehicle system. The apparatus includes a processor operable in an automatic mode to output a control signal to automate operation of the vehicle system. The processor is configured to receive a measurement signal from a sensor associated with the vehicle system. The processor outputs the control signal in dependence on a comparison of the measurement signal to a control function. A user override of the automated operation of the vehicle system is detected and the processor re-calibrates the control function in dependence on the detected user override. The present disclosure also relates to a vehicle and to a method of controlling operation of a vehicle system.

SWITCH DEVICE

The switch device is mounted on a vehicle capable of travelling in an automatic driving mode, and is configured to operate at least one function of a wiper function and a light function. The switch device includes an operation lever which is configured to select one operation mode from a plurality of operation modes included in the at least one function and configured to return to a neutral position when the selected operation mode is released, and a feedback unit which is configured to feed back to an operator of the operation lever information indicating that one operation mode has been selected from the plurality of operation modes by using the operation lever.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DISPLAY TYPE SWITCH FOR VEHICLE

A display type switch for a vehicle includes a first display that displays one or more symbols related to functions of the vehicle and a second display that is connected to the first display and that controls the one or more symbols displayed on the first display.

A switch device includes a knob, a support to support the knob to be movable in a linear direction, a switch main body to make electrical switching upon an operation of the knob, and a detent member to give a detent feeling to the operation on the knob. The knob, the switch main body and the detent member are serially arranged in the linear direction.

VEHICULAR LIGHT SWITCH AND VEHICULAR LIGHT SYSTEM

A vehicular light switch can change the mode of an exterior-illuminating light by rotating to different positions including an auto setting and a SMALL setting. If the position of the vehicular light switch is rotated to the SMALL setting, a momentary mechanism returns the position to the auto setting. If extravehicular brightness is less than a prescribed value and the position is rotated to the SMALL setting whilst the vehicle is stationary, a first light controller turns off a low-beam light, and turns on the low-beam light if the vehicle runs afterwards. If extravehicular brightness is less than a prescribed value and the position is rotated to the SMALL setting while the vehicle is running, a second light controller keeps the low-beam light turned on.

A vehicle includes a light switch for manually operating a lighting state of a lighting device. The light switch includes a light-off position and an auto-light position for executing an auto-light process. A vehicle control system includes a first controller for executing an automated driving of the vehicle, and a second controller for controlling a lighting state of the lighting device based on a request from the first controller or operation information of the light switch. The first controller is configured to transmit an auto-light request for executing the auto-light process to the second controller during execution of the automated driving. The second controller is configured to execute the auto-light process when the auto-light request is received from the first controller in a state where the light switch is operated to the light-off position.

INPUT DEVICE

An input device includes: a rotating member that rotates about a predetermined rotation axis; and a mover that includes a protrusion protruding toward an inner peripheral surface of the rotating member and moves in a direction different from a rotation direction of the rotating member along with rotation of the rotating member. The protrusion protrudes toward an inner peripheral surface of the rotating member. The rotating member includes a first projection and a second projection that project from the inner peripheral surface toward the mover. The protrusion of the mover is inclined with respect to the predetermined rotation axis and disposed between the first projection and the second projection.
