Tie plate dispenser and method therefore
Present embodiments relate to a tie plate dispenser which selectively changes the orientation of the tie plates being ejected, if needed. An actuator is used to flip the tie plate as it falls from an ejection location of the dispenser.
AUTOMATED ITEM SINGULATION
Described are systems, methods, and apparatus for automated item singulation. The system includes a singulation station in which a plurality of different type items may be transitioned onto a singulation table. The singulation table activates and the movement of the singulation table causes the items to de-shingle, separate in distance with respect to one another and migrate along the singulation table toward a pick conveyor. As the de-shingled and singulated items arrive on the pick conveyor they are detected and individually picked by a robotic unit and transitioned from the singulation station.
PART TRANSPORTING DEVICE
A nut transporting device includes: an outer cylinder, multiple attracting members that are arrayed in a spiral shape about a center axis extending in an axial direction of the outer cylinder, on an inner surface side of the outer cylinder and that form a magnetic field on an outer surface side of the outer cylinder to attract a weld nut to an outer surface of the outer cylinder; a rotary drive unit configured to rotatably move the attracting members about the center axis; and a restriction guide that restricts rotational movement of the weld nut to move the weld nut axially along the outer surface of the outer cylinder.
ORIENTATION DEVICE FOR ELONGATED OBJECTS
An orientation device for objects (O) provided with a stem (S) and with a head (H) that has a minimum width (R), characterised in that it comprises: a slot (3) which has two edges separated by a predetermined distance (D), less than the minimum width (R) and greater than the maximum width of the stem (G); an uncoupling device (4), movable between an active configuration, in which it is able to retain an object (O) with respect to lifting, and an inactive configuration, in which it is not able to interact with an object (O); a magnetic gripping element (2), movable along at least a vertical direction between an upper position and a lower position, in which an object (O) associated with the gripping element (2) is in a position such as to be retained by the uncoupling device (4) so as to be detached from the gripping element (2).
Feeding rod for shaft-shaped component and feeding method
A feeding rod is configured to insert a shaft-shaped component having a circular flange and a shaft portion into a receiving hole. A central axis of the shaft portion is disposed in an inclined state with respect to a central axis of the receiving hole due to the inclined disposition of the feeding rod. A surface of the flange is in close contact with a tip surface of the feeding rod due to an attraction force of a magnet of the feeding rod. A positioning protrusion receives an outer peripheral portion of the flange and sets a relative position between the feeding rod and the shaft-shaped component. A most advanced stop position of the feeding rod is a position where a tip portion of the shaft portion has entered the receiving hole, and the attraction force of the magnet is configured to be eliminated at the stop position.
Bolt supply device
A bolt supply device includes a slide plate inclined to a vertical direction; and a groove portion formed in the slide plate and having a width that allows passing of a screw portion of a bolt and prevents passing of a flange portion of the bolt. The groove portion includes a first groove configured such that an angle formed between a line extending in an up-down direction along the slide plate and the first groove is a first angle; and a second groove connected to a lower end of the first groove and configured such that an angle formed between the line extending in the up-down direction along the slide plate and the second groove is a second angle smaller than the first angle. The bolt take-out portion is set in the groove portion at a lower end or below the lower end of the second groove.
Apparatus and method for handling bars
Apparatus for handling bars (31), in particular metal bars, including a loading unit (22) provided with transporter elements (25) to transfer a series of bars (31) toward a selector unit (34); the selector unit (34) includes a gripping device (35) configured to remove one or more bars (31) from the transporter elements (25) of the loading unit (22) and to release them toward a subsequent collection station (43) and also includes sensors (41) configured to automatically detect at least the number of bars (31) removed and released by the gripping device (35) toward the collection station (43).
MACHINE FOR ORIENTING AND ALIGNING ARTICLES SUPPLIED IN BULK
A machine for orienting and aligning items supplied in bulk, comprising a first conveyor (10) having a feeder section (11), a collection section (12) and a return section (13); a second conveyor (20); a detection system (30); and a plurality of transfer robots (40) for transferring items from the first conveyor onto the second conveyor, modifying the orientation thereof, where the feeder section is supplied with objects by a feeder device for items in bulk, including a circular centrifugal disc (50) that rotates around an inclined axis (E), with an upper peripheral area (51) adjacent to and substantially at the same level as the feeder section (11), and where the return section (13) is adjacent to the receptacle (50, 53) of the feeder of items in bulk.
