A crane drive method is provided for selecting and applying a preferential load curve adapted to a work configuration of a crane having a mast supporting a luffing jib including at least one jib structural element. The method includes an inclination measurement step implementing a measurement of an actual inclination of the jib structural element with respect to a reference axis in the work configuration, a selection step implementing an automated selection of the preferential load curve according to the actual inclination of the jib structural element, the preferential load curve selected from among a plurality of load curves stored in a memory and calculated beforehand for several inclinations of the jib structural element, and a drive step implementing an application of the preferential load curve for maneuvers of lifting and moving a load along the luffing jib in the work configuration of the crane.
SELF-ERECTING CRANE WITH CONTROL OF THE CONFIGURATION CHANGE OPERATIONS
A self-erecting crane includes a mast supporting a foldable jib having jib elements articulated together, configurable between a transport configuration and a work configuration. The crane also includes a motor-driven folding/unfolding system for performing configuration change operations implementing kinematics of folding and unfolding the jib, and a control/command system connected to the motor-driven folding/unfolding system to drive it. One or several inclinometer(s) are mounted on one or several jib element(s) to measure actual inclinations of the jib element(s) with respect to a reference axis. The control/command system is configured to drive the motor-driven folding/unfolding system according to the actual inclinations of the jib element(s) during the kinematics of folding and unfolding the jib.
Method of raising a crane boom
The invention relates to a method of raising a telescopic boom of a mobile crane having a luffing fly jib and having a spatial boom guying. To be able to raise particularly long luffing fly jib systems together with the telescopic boom here, in accordance with the invention the telescopic boom is first telescoped outwardly to its desired length. In this position, all the telescopic sections are bolted to one another and the spatial guying is tensioned before the raising of the luffing fly jib pivotally connected to the telescopic boom.
AUTOMATICALLY FOLDING AND UNFOLDING TOWER CRANE
An automated collapsible tower crane comprising a mast with telescopic portions, a boom with boom sections articulated with each other by respective rotary joints, a boom folding system to unfold and fold the boom by the rotary joints wherein each proximal and distal rotary joint is associated with at least one hydraulic actuator to unfold and fold boom sections, a mast folding system to fold the mast down, wherein in the transport position the boom sections are folded down one on top of the other and on the mast, and the boom folding and unfolding system acts independently of the folding and telescoping system of the mast, and comprises hydraulic actuators to fold and unfold the boom sections.
Crane having a collapsible jib
The invention relates to a crane comprising a tower and a jib, wherein the jib rests on the tower and is fixed on the tower when the crane is in an inoperative position.
