TRENCHER WITH DEPTH INDICATOR
A trencher with a depth indicator enables determination in real time of the depth of a trench being dug. The trencher comprises: an arm about which digging implements are moveable; a foot operably connected to the arm and being in contact with the ground when the trencher is in use excavating a trench, the foot comprising a ground contacting region; an inclinometer or orientation sensor operably connected to the arm to measure or determine an angle of inclination of the arm; a calculating element operably connected to the arm for calculating a depth of an end of the arm by using a determined angle of inclination of the arm; and an indicating element operably connected to the arm for indicating either a depth of the arm or a depth of the trench being excavated, or indicating whether the depth of the arm or the depth of the trench being excavated has deviated from a desired depth.
Vehicle with non-symmetrical drive members
A vehicle having a long track or wheel-trail wheel combination on one side and a smaller ground engaging member, such as a short track or wheel on the other. The vehicle has a work attachment on one end of its frame, which is provided clearance on the side of the vehicle with the short track or wheel. A control system is provided to allow an operator to properly control a direction of the vehicle despite the fact that different forces may be required to operate the long track and the short track or wheel.
Virtual Path Guidance System
A guidance system for remotely guiding a work machine along a virtual path. The system uses a vision system to capture image data representative of areas surrounding the work machine. The image data is used to produce a spatial map. Analysis of image data allows the work machine's then-current position to be represented on the spatial map. A virtual path extending from the work machine's position is next added to the spatial map. The virtual path may be generated in response to external input provided at the display showing an image of the spatial map. Using continuously-updated image data, the work machine is driven toward the virtual path. During operation, the actual path of the work machine is compared to the virtual path. If any deviation between the paths is detected, the trajectory of the work machine is automatically adjusted.
Foundation With Chain Blades During Construction and Its Construction Method
Disclosed are a foundation having a chain cutter at the base during construction and a construction method of the same. A rock and soil conveying apparatus is provided inside or beside a foundation (1) having a chain cutter (3) at the base during construction, the base of the foundation (1) has a track (1-1), the chain cutter (3) is mounted on the track (1-1) during construction, and the chain cutter (3) is composed of a chain (3-1) and a rock and soil excavating cutter (3-2) fixed on the chain (3-1). A chain excavating apparatus mainly consists of the chain cutter (3) and a transmission apparatus, the transmission apparatus mainly being composed of a driving apparatus (4) and a sprocket (6). During construction, the driving apparatus (4) drives the chain cutter (3), the chain cutter (3) runs along the track (1-1), the cutter (3-2) at the base of the foundation (1) excavates rock and soil, which are removed by the rock and soil conveying apparatus, and the chain cutter (3) at the base of the foundation (1) and the foundation (1) descend together. The defects of the prior art are overcome, and since the foundation (1) itself has an excavating apparatus, the foundation (1) can be pre-formed in blocks at the factory, or can be constructed by pouring while descending in on-site fixed formwork, construction is simple, in particular waterproofing is especially good as descending is done as a whole, the construction period is short, and costs are low.

Ground working tool with replaceable teeth
A ground working tool comprises a tooth holder (70) and a replaceable tooth (30), the tooth holder (70) comprising a recess (74) for receiving at least part of a tooth (30), the recess (74) having an upper surface (80) and an opposed lower surface (78), at least one projection (92, 94) of hard material extending from the upper surface or the lower surface of the recess of the tooth holder (74), the tooth (30) comprising a distal part (32) for engaging or working the ground or earth during use and a proximal part (34), the proximal part (34) of the tooth (30) being received within the recess (74) of the tooth holder (70), the proximal part (34) of the tooth having an upper surface (33) and a lower surface (35), the tooth (30) having at least one recess (60, 62) on the upper surface or the lower surface of the proximal part thereof, the at least one recess (60, 62) being of complementary size and shape to the at least one projection (92, 94) of hard material in the recess of the tooth holder such that the at least one projection is positioned within the at least one recess of the tooth when the tooth is fully inserted in the recess of the tooth holder.
