Latching system for dipper
11732435 · 2023-08-22 · ·

A latching system associated with a dipper door of a dipper includes a latch bar that engages with a body of the dipper. The latch bar defines a longitudinal axis. The latch bar includes a housing, one or more shims, and a wear member removably coupled to the housing. The wear member defines a wear surface and a wear axis extending parallel to the wear surface. An angle defined between the wear axis and the longitudinal axis is less than 45 degrees. The latching system also includes an arm member pivotally coupled to the dipper door such that the arm member is pivotable along a first pivot plane. The arm member contacts a portion of the latch bar for moving the latch bar along the longitudinal axis. The latching system includes a guide assembly having a guide pulley and an actuation member that causes pivoting of the arm member.

System and method for vibration monitoring of a mining machine

A mining machine having a control system for operating the mining machine. The control system includes a vibration monitor. The mining machine further includes a sensor and a vibration control system. The sensor senses vibration of a component of the mining machine. The vibration control system determines when the mining machine is moving in a proper cycle, triggers acquisition of vibration sensor data from the sensor in response to determining that the mining machine is moving in the proper cycle, and outputs the vibration sensor data.

A chain cutter for excavating rock and/or soil has one or more chains and cutters fixed on the chains, such that the central line of the one or more chains can form a spatial curve. Adjacent returning cutters on the chain cutter non-excavating face are staggered in the lengthwise direction of the chains, and are in a mutually embedded arrangement in the widthwise direction, or adjacent returning cutters on the chain cutter non-excavating face are in a stacked arrangement in the lengthwise direction of the chains, i.e. the widths of the chain cutter excavating faces are greater than the widths of the non-excavating faces, such that a machine frame in an annular enclosed region of the chain cutter and a machine frame outside the enclosed region are connected together as one within the width range of the excavating faces.
