The invention relates to a disc brake comprising a brake caliper (1), which engages over a brake disc that can rotate on an axis (A) and brake linings (2, 3) arranged on both sides thereof in a lining groove (6), comprising a hold-down arrangement (8) formed by a rigid hold-down piece (7) and a leaf spring (9) and leading transversely over the brake linings (2, 3), wherein the hold-down piece (7) has a central section (7b) forming the majority of its total length and leading over the lining groove (6), and two end sections (7a, 7c), wherein the hold-down piece is supported against the brake linings (2, 3) towards the disc brake axis (A), and wherein said hold-down piece extends at least partially into a slot (14) of the brake caliper (1) with the first end section (7a) thereof, and wherein the leaf spring (9) extends in the longitudinal direction of the hold-down piece (7) and is spring-elastically supported against the outer side of the hold-down piece (7) facing away from the brake linings (2, 3). In order to more simply configure the fixing of the elements of the hold-down arrangement in terms of assembly and production, without thereby weakening the fixture, the first end section (7a) of the hold-down piece (7) is angled in relation to the central section (7b).

Arrangement of a pad retaining clip on the brake caliper of a disc brake, and brake pad

A disk brake includes a brake caliper and two brake pads, which can be pressed onto a brake disk on both sides and which each have a pad carrier plate and a friction pad fastened thereto. A pad retaining clip, which is retained on the brake caliper and which spans an installation opening, is supported on the brake pads. The pad retaining clip is fastened to a form closure element of at least one brake pad so as to be secured against movement.

Securing device for securing a signal cable

A securing device secures at least one signal cable to a pad retainer bracket of a disc brake, wherein the disc brake has a pad retainer bracket that is secured to a brake caliper of the disc brake spanning a brake disc. The securing device has a retainer that can be arranged on the pad retainer bracket. The signal cable is retained in the retainer, wherein the retainer is also interlockingly and/or frictionally retained on one side in a lateral region of the pad retainer bracket. The signal cable is guided between the retainer and the associated side of the pad retainer bracket.

BRAKE PAD RETAINER ARRANGEMENT

A brake pad retainer arrangement for holding a brake pad in position relative to a disc in a disc brake. The arrangement comprises an elongated retainer bracket arranged to extend transversely over the disc and the brake pad, wherein the retainer bracket is spring loaded to press against a rim portion of the brake pad. The retainer bracket is also arranged to engage the rim portion at an angle, thereby biasing the brake pad in a direction away from the disc.

Brake Carrier

A one-piece brake carrier for a vehicle disc brake is provided. The brake carrier has a frame-like disc wrap-around element which has two mutually parallel bridge struts, and two frame sections arranged parallel to a brake disc rotation axis and connecting the bridge struts. The brake carrier further has a securing flange by which the brake carrier is fixable to an axle flange. One or both of the frame sections, starting from a side of the brake carrier away from the securing flange widens toward an outer edge of the securing flange.

Disc brake for a commercial vehicle

A disc brake and a brake lining for a commercial vehicle are provided. The disc brake includes a brake caliper on a stationary brake carrier and straddling a brake disc. The brake carrier has at least one brake lining space, in particular two brake lining spaces, each of which is delimited by lateral brake carrier lugs and accommodates a brake lining. At least one respective dimensionally stable blocking element is provided as a counter bearing against the insertion direction of the brake pads. The blocking elements are supported on the brake pads and/or or the brake carrier and are held on the brake carrier and/or on the brake pads.

Disc brake for a utility vehicle and brake pad for a disc brake

A disc brake for a utility vehicle includes a brake caliper which engages over a vehicle-side brake disc, which is connected to a stationary brake carrier, and in which two brake pads are arranged which bear against the brake disc on both sides during a braking operation, having in each case one lining carrier plate and one friction lining which is fastened thereto, and of which at least one brake application-side brake pad is positioned in a pad shaft of the brake carrier, which pad shaft is delimited by two brake carrier horns. The lining carrier plate bears against stops of the brake carrier in a manner which is spring-loaded radially in the direction of a mounting opening of the brake caliper. The disc brake is configured in such a way that the brake pad is held on the brake caliper in a radially sprung manner.

Disc brake

A brake pad, a disc brake, and a method of fitting a brake pad. At least one of a first brake pad and a second brake pad and corresponding support structures may have complementary profiles on circumferential faces thereof arranged so as to permit the brake pad to be inserted into a corresponding support structure in a transverse direction of the brake pad and at an angle to a circumferential direction of the support structure.
